thanks guys, I do appreciate your compliments high school is HARD not just with work fitting in is hard too and if my kid ever gets bullied at high school i'll definatly march up there and take action because its the worst tormenting feeling ever and it makes you feel worthless I was depressed, and actually was thinking of suicide at the time I was in the frame of mind the only thing that stopped me was my family and my nephew that I love.

I finally couldnt take it and my mum saw it she practically saved my life, which is why i am now getting home schooled its torture and no man should be put through it.

I never thought that I would get so close to EVEN think of that but at the time i felt like I had no other choice.

the time I remained there though I did get counciling about my anger problems and the depression and she told me to break insults down into silly little things that made no sense,

i told her that I could'nt ignore the insults because everyone said it so I just stayed in a room with no break and a little dinner but they still tormented me through the doors.

if I had to say one thing to someone who was getting bullied I would say this, whoever calls you a name turn around and smash his stupid ass face in and punch him until he begs you to stop.

I didnt do that though and thats a mistake on my half.

I'm sorry to hear about that, I truly am, but remember that suicide is a selfish act, it is never a benefit to your friends and family. No matter how hard things get, remember them; terminating your life will do nothing but dump a load of your troubles onto your family, and you won't be able to do a thing about it.

And who cares if someone throws an insult your way? Don't let them get to you. You know who you are, what they say will do nothing to change that.

Anger doesn't accomplish much, it screws your judgement, leaves you doing something you might regret later. Just let it go, vent your anger in a safe direction. My favorite way to vent anger and frustration is a good old fashioned FPS, just blasting zombies and monsters away with reckless abandon. Is terribly wonderful therapy for me.

As far as punching a bully in the face, well... I'm not going to say I condone it, but if you pull it off it might teach the bully a valuable lesson. Plus the little boost in your self confidence doesn't hurt.

And if someone posts something you don't like on the internet, just close the page. Get back to it after you've calmed down, you will be able to get your message across much better.

But as far as your grammar goes, well, its definitely getting better, that I can vouch for. But if people see a post and have trouble understanding it, they may just assume you didn't put much effort into getting your idea across and as such will put little effort in taking it seriously.

Plus online forums are a source of communication exclusively through written text. There isn't much communication going on if you can't form your ideas in a manner easily understood.

I went through my own suicide crisis a few years back, and it's not something to laugh at- it can get very serious, very quickly.

everything that can go wrong, will go wrong-murphys law. i live by it.
but i dont go thru life by how many bad things happen to me, i think of it as another challange i must face, to better my self, and my life.
thats how i roll.

Good to see the discussion straighten out. But I gotta say for the record that this forum was very gracious to GrizzlyKiller and his idea's, even if we didn't believe them

All we did here was disagree and share our own opinions, because that is what you do on a forum: When you share opinions and beliefs, you get opinions and beliefs back. Wether they agree with you or not, you just gotta handle them, 'tis the way of life.

But I know other forums that would have skipped the 'disagreeing' part and gone straight to flat out arguing and childish insults.

If you posted this on the GamePlanet forums Grizz, you probably would have triggered a furious debate and gotten destroyed in the middle of a flame war between raving believers and deniers. The phrase "cool story bro" would have trailed on for pages.

I still say you are lucky.

We try to keep a more relaxed tone in our forums, at least as far as discussions go...

As for suicide, thats a dark path, one you'll certainly want to constantly avoid, there are other ways to focus your life and pain.
And as Xavious said, PC games are a good therapy, don't play anything where you'll get frustrated and lose, they must give one time to cool off...

Bullies, all of them are cowards, and almost all of them are flanked by cronies, they'll likely find their way into crime. Its usually best to deal with them the first time they become a problem, otherwise they won't fear you or think twice next time...

But as you say, you've taken home schooling, I think you'll be better off in many ways for that...

Thanks man, I did go through a suicide crisis and I know its a horrible path to take.
I was coming home every night and sitting in my room crying and I felt so pathetic its was a horrible time and I would try my absolute best to avoid it in the future because if it wasnt for my family I wouldnt be here to post this, I know suicide is a selfish act its very selfish and it destroys family's but at the time I felt like no one actually cared and that if I did it they'd just bury me and be done with.

but I do agree with Black Eagle, bullies are stupid dumb shit assholes who think there big but actually there mums probably a crack addict and they have 20 dads.
and they try to feel big by picking on people but actually there slowly dying inside.

well a person bullys people to feel better about there own insecurities. so id assume, it could be anything really.

This is very harsh considering bullies are exactly people like you were; who feel bad inside and are in a mental crisis. People simply deal with personal problems differently, bullies simply need help, they don't need to be attacked and called names.

They deserve no help they made my life hell.

Some people are just born an asshole, and they wont change because its too funny but when they grow up they learn that the boots on the other foot and people laugh at them because they failed at life just for being stupid when they were growing up.

I'd love to help them but they dont learn so there's no point, you'd be wasting your time and i for one wont waste time sitting down and helping someone who will not change afterwards.

Besides some people will better themselves on their own and them people are the wise ones.

but seriously bullies are all the same they dont change.

but there are a few that do better themselves they are the ones who save there future.

but the other ones are just stupid and arrogant and wont change because its too much fun, well they grow up in a 2X4 cell with horrible food and short visiting hours, they really dont care though because they think there cool and badass, but when there alot older they'll look back and think, wow i really screwed my life up.

its people like that who mess there life up and people like that who are a thorn in society.

over here in Britain I think we are too soft on people like that and we need harsher punishments, When im older I would love to have my family in america and like somewhere like aspen or Colorado
because its a nice place where you can fit in and live without troubles.

i'd give anything to have a nice house with a family but the area I live you cant have nice things because there's someone out to destroy it for devilment.

Both my mum and dads car have being broken into at least once and you CANT go out at night simply because there's always someone out to get you.

I think Britain has lost its touch britain use to own pretty much everything back in the 1600's
but now it has very much gone downhill were always electing people who say they'll change things good but they just hire the DAMN taxes, car insurance is through the roof i swear you might aswell ride a bike because its so high,

And the harder you work the MORE taxes you get so if you earn a paycheck of £500 a week the government will want at least 40% of that.

and the worst thing is company's okay let me ask a question who is in virgin media for there internet is it EVEN a internet its really horribly slow and they dont have support they just say unplug it and plug it back in again, WELL NOO, i never thought of doing that i just banged it a couple of times and said it works, (imagine what i said in a sarcastic voice by the way)

But they do treat us like were simple and they should really look at there company because no ones going to go for a company that has no customer support we always have trouble with them and they should just say "okay we'll send someone out a technician" REALLY THANK YOU finally (imagine that in a sarcastic voice aswell)

the thing i like about britain though is the NHS they do help out and i do think people take healthcare for granted over here, i think its a blessing that its even free some country's will fight tooth and nail to even get a vaccine when we can just go to ten doctors and ask for one.

LMAO, I feal your pain. Here in the USA I have AT&T U-verse. I think its all ISP tech support thats like that. By the time their done with you, you've turned your computer off and on a dozen times, they've had to go ask their supervisor something 50 times and they can barely speak your language.

I agree that not all bullies are the same and a few are certainly bullies due to being in just as much torment as those they torment...

BUT

My life experience begs to differ: The majority (not all) of bullies I encountered were actually people who were smarter, wittier and/or more athletic and fit than other students. They came from very stable backgrounds too. (Not to imply that smart and strong people are all bullies or that being smart and strong will make you one, that's not what I am suggesting.)

Even more common; was that these people were also very popular with others and had tons of friends to support them and everything they do. Even if it involved dragging some kid around in the dirt

80% of all bullies I faced in school were these people because they KNEW they were smarter and stronger than everybody else and willingly shoved those facts into peoples faces.

In other words, most bullies I met were all about ego, narcissism, self-absorption, arrogance and the instinctive desire to dominate over others, none of them had development problems. These people attacked others purely because they thought they were better than everyone else and according to a technicality (i.e: athletic, academic and social well being) they were! They therefor felt no remorse for those who weren't as popular, rich and healthy as they were and would belittle, ostracize, judge and persecute as they saw fit.

They never knew that their actions were wrong since they received so much support from peers who wanted to ride their coattails of popularity

Think of schools as a social hierarchy of wolves and you will start to get the picture. Bullies tend to be the alpha males trying to establish dominance over their subordinate victims

I'm not saying that's the reality for every bullying case out there, nor am I saying that ego is directly tied to bullying, just stating my life experience.

I'd have to agree, thats usually the cause(especially the social popularity)...

But they too have something to learn, and if they won't learn it peacefully, they need the shoe to be on the other foot, before they get to prison and find out the're not the biggest kid on the block...

If someone does something thats wrong, letting them get away with it if you can prevent it is a bad idea..

Unfortunately most bullies and other such people who take their issues out on others tend to have others to back them up....

Personally I'd form a gang of my own to punish those who pick on people until order is restored....

I went to a small school where bullying really wasn't an issue. You'd have disagreements and different "groups" but any problems were generally on equal grounds. Every one pretty much had the same background, similar wealth, etc.

These things weren't a problem for me.

For the record, the number of graduating students averages about 40 students a year at my school.

About the same amount.

i wish mine was that small, wen i graded. there was about 3-4 thousand. we have a big school district lol, im so glad in out of there.

I remember i went to a school called yorkshire martyrs and it was ace there i loved it But it closed down unfortunately then i went to another school and all hell broke loose its really horrible when you go to schools that all gang up on you, it can lead to Serious consequences sometimes the person getting bullied just loses it and commits suicide, its the worst feeling because you feel isolated and feel like there's no one to talk to so you just assume that its the only way out, if i saw someone who was like that i'd just give them a hug, honestly its the best thing no words can describe the power of a hug sometimes and it can at the right time stop someone from taking there life, its the nicest thing in the world and better than any words, but of course it depends on the moment you cant just go out and hug any person because well, you'll get arrested

But i always looked at my mum for help and i know for a fact that she saved me from doing something stupid when i was there, she was the one who risked her neck and pulled me out of the school and i couldnt thank her enough for that, sometimes you think to yourself, i wouldnt ever think of commiting suicide because its selfish but honestly you get to a point when your pushed and pushed that you just snap and cant control yourself and in that time you've probably already taken your life.

i consider myself VERY lucky because i WAS at that point i thought that it would never end i was looking at knifes in my kitchen and just thinking, just do it and end the torture it was horrible because i actually thought it was the logical choice i had no pride because they took that away from me and just laughed at me i was thinking, what could they possibly take from me next and it hit me, they'd take my life so i just went to my mum and said cna i tell you something and i just told her that i was at the end i couldnt cope anymore, and she was the one that hugged me and said its alright and i just burst into tears.

I'd rather have no life than deal with that pain again because its worst than any injury because it scars you inside, Sure if you had an accident and cut yourself that'll heal but emotional scars are there for LIFE and can get over it but it takes a very long time, talking about it helps sometimes
and i know that i wont even remember it in the future, but if my kid ever comes home and acted the way i did, i know what to do immediately because NO man should go through that pain because its worst than torture it is like a disease because you know that if it carries on you'll just snap and end your own life.

Thats why if anyone has to talk about bulling or just needs a big long chat you can Always turn to me.
