But I really wanna try World In Conflict, it looks awesome!

It is awesome. Simply a stunning RTS.

I first tried the beta and was pleasantly surprised at how the multiplayer played out, i've never been one for playing online in RTS's, but World in Conflict's online is too much fun.

I hope someday EnteR you get a better computer to try it, for its an amazing game.

hey is World in Conflict anything like empire at war or is it different? is the AI like EMpire at war or AOE III?

Well its a totally different concept. Being that communism doesn't fall, the Soviets launch a full scale invasion of Europe around 1980 (i think) and then around 1990 they attack the United States (totally forgetting about Canada... then again, I'm fine with that).

Its a fast kind of tactical RTS, with no base building except for controlling command points (circles) and holding them til they build up emplacements (anti-armor, anti-air, MG nest).

The only AI that is present in the game as far as AI (bots) who control a team, they are only in the Campaign, which in itself is great (tad hard sometimes), they preform alright, though your usually able to push on through, though the game usually has them just attack you with tons of them to overwhelm you, usually it doesn't work.

As for the Pathfinding AI, its great, rarely i'll find i need to micromange them through streets, plus it just gets to hectic when you have say 3 squads of 3 light armored vehicles all engaged in combat at the same time.

World in Conflict is a totally new RTS, and it works wonderfully.

Get that, try it and you might be pleasantly surprised.

does the demo of it have skirmish or not?

Theirs a demo that has you playing through a portion of the campaign.

Also Roy, understand WiC doesn't have Skirmish in the settings we know, it does have a SinglePlayer Campaign (which can easily be played though multiple times without getting boring) and multiplayer (with no option for bots).

hey I am having performance issues with the asian dynasties.. I have turned DOWN EVERYTHING to the lowest detail and the lowest resolution and it still jerky a lot.. why?

had to turn down resolution to 800 by 600 and every detail to LOWEST!!!! that was the thing and I got latest drivers!!

hey ugly in the demo and in the full version of the game it has skirmish because I have played the demo before.. and yes it has bots for an option too

I am getting rid of my copy of Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars... its just like Lord of the Rings battle for middle earth games because all you do in those games is SPAM your enemy CONSTANTLY!!!

But you just said you didn't like the game, then why would you get the expansion.
