great review, i really agree with the stuff he was saying towards the end of the video.

That guy should read the meaning of the verb 'to expand', before giving a FEAR expansion bad points for expanding FEAR gameplay.

Also, giving bad points to blocky level design is moronic in this case. Aren't most real life buildings "blocky" with some furniture and decorations? The level design is perfectly logical. And naturally turning off graphics settings will make the looks bland, slow computers = slow performance and ugly graphics.

He can talk fast, that's impressive, but can anyone explain to me what is so funny about his reviews?

Uhh... he has a sense of humor? Lighten up man... He does it for the fun of it, not to piss off diehard gaming fanatics. I have a particular bias for PS3 (which you lovingly call PoS3, iirc), but that didn't stop me from laughing my ass off to his "Console Rundown" article.

Everyone has a sense of humor except lawyers. My question was what is funny about his reviews. Is it the mindless hispeed talking, or is it the clever way he puts things to words? The many reviews I've listened to, I just don't get what is so funny.

I believe I have the same right to voice my negative opinions about a guy named after a popular dice game, as you are allowed to voice positive ones.

But I have nothing more to say here so carry on with the thread.

F.E.A.R. is a great game(as well as the expansions), and some of the stuff he said was ridiculous. He does have his true and funny parts though.

Its all opinion anyway, cant we all get along and sing songs of happiness?

I must also add that my favorite line that ever came out of Yahtzee's mouth is: "The main character starts off as a fresh-faced farm boy whose origin story reads like the first chapter of 'The Totally Unoriginal Guide to RPG Hero Motivation' (Extra Generic Edition)". Couldn't stop laughing for a good while.

I personally think he's a good reviewer in general.

Perhaps someone can link me a review where he actualy applauds and praises a game. Until then im most certain hes just making good comedy rather than serious reviews.

I will cheer him on! He's basically telling you not to take his reviews into consideration. There for entertainment purposes.

Loved this review its amazingly funny. And he actually turned out liking the game this time.

he made the game sound like shit, then he says "o and its an ok game."(basically)

No he just pointed out all the flaws and compared them to situations. And you can like a game and still know theres shitty flaws in it. Ill demonstrate. Halos a good game unfortunately its almost as short as the Backstreet Boys singing career. Sure mines not as insultingly as his but it does get the point across.

i like how he said "Halo3 has the depth of a spoon", after playing the campaign mode and online i have to agree..... i admit its still fun to play tho

You're right, he did show an inkling of positivity that time. He just emphasises all the bad points to give himself punchline material.

Many other reviewers gave Assassins Creed perfect scores by the way, some never even spotted a flaw. But of course not a single mistake gets past this guy.
