I'm sure there are better places to ask about this, but I'm too lazy to find another place right now. I'm making some monsters for UT2004 for my own personal use, and I want to kind of randomize their size, but I don't really know coding very well. I want to get a random number, 0.9 - 1.1, and be able to times this value by it's health, draw scale, speed, collision height and collision radius. That way each time one of the monsters is created, it will vary in health and speed, depending on how big or small it is (which would be different for each one). If there's anyone here that would know how to do this, or knows where I can look to learn how to do this, could you email me or send me a private message? (xavious_luthian at yahoo.com) |

What do we need more moderators for? I think the forums here manage to stay pretty well-organized despite there being only a few people with moderator privelidges. Especially compared to a lot of other boards I know. |

There have been discussions of adding another moderator, but I don't see it happening because of that exact reason. If this mod and the community survive to the day BW gets released for UT2007, I think the community will grow to a massive size in no time and will need more moderators. But that is a look into the far away future. |
