The only thing of any value in your computer is the processor. You should consider upgrading, my system costs around $1000 nowdays. So you can get a very powerful computer for very little, maybe $500 and above gives you decent improvement. |

And this is my familys pc and they wont let me do anything to help it because they think ill destroy it 
the old computer could barely run Ut 04 on low graphics so im glad i have this one for the time being

DC's PC looks ok, but too bad the Pentium 4 is unable to use the DDR2 memory interface effectively. He needs a new video card though, and you too.

That computer looks ok, but it won't render demanding games well. And UglyPants is right, there is always a reason when stuff is free, and usually it ain't positive. |

That is a good card yes, but that is assuming it has the same architecture as the PC version. |

I'm not so sure. If you look at benchmarks, the Macs are getting up to 2x less performance than a PC with the exact same hardware horsepower. So on a Mac, you need a 7900 GTX to make the game perform as well as a PC with a 6800 GT for example. |
