As you get better, you could design BW weapons, we need a sketch of a pulse rifle... :)

i still need practice like you said........

i'll give it a go some time and get my friend to colour it if hes up to it, and if not it will be black and white (the program i used to create those sucks REALLY bad with colour) Exhale (jesse) worked wonders with the Walther PPK.........

I'm sure the above guns look just as good if in black & white or color, doesn't matter since they look good.

i may have spoke to soon but well you'll see.........

i was playing DM-Rankin on maxed out settings (bots= map default (4 for DM-Rankin) ) and it ran smooth as penut butter.........

i turned BW on (bw settings= Maxed out, ut2004 settings= maxedout) and it ran smooth as can be too (around 100FPS).

so realIzing i should try adding more bots in i tried 15 with BW-ut2004 maxed.......... the result was 30-40 fps.

if ut2004 took advantage of dual power i feel that wouldnt be............

also i never play with 15 bots :P

I'm always playing with 7 to 9 bots or if i'm playing TDM4 i play with 11, and thats the most.

With older Intel processors, the dualcore technology wouldn't make things much smoother, but my A64 X2 got over 80% FPS gain when I turned on SPM optimisation in the BIOS. :D

SPM? WTH is that?

Author:  Bjossi [ Sat Aug 19, 2006 3:37 pm ]
Post subject:  pics made by me and a friend

It's a certain script that enables the processor to use lost bytes in each clock cycle, making dualcores very effective since almost half of the bytes are lost in games that don't use CPU1.

And I was going to say SMP by the way, not SPM. :P

CoD2 isn't very demanding if you have good DX9 and SM2.0 support, same goes for games like HL2 and other Steam games. You need a pretty basic system, then the support does the rest. :)

all i know is that in CoD2 i can't run it with DX9 rendering, i have to render it on DX8 or was it DX7, anyways it still looks good and runs fine but if i render it at DX9... LAG city!

DX9 is very demanding for Geforce FX because they have terrible support for it. CoD2 is unplayable on my dad's PC until I enable DX7, it looks awful compared to DX9 but at least the game is smooth for him that way.
