Get ready to work your ares off RS cause the MSUC will surely be amazing and i'm sure that (cause theirs no doubt that it will be for UT2k7) they'l accept mods like yours that are game altering and aren't full TCs. |

Or is the winning price different this time? According to the article the actual prize was $50,000 in cash plus a "£350,000" Unreal Engine 2 license. So I'm guessing this time around it ain't gonna be a million either, but $50,000 isn't too bad, and if you use the license to make a truly kick-ass standalone game, you can certainly make craploads of money. Hell, even if they don't win all the publicity will practically guarantee some kind of sweet deal.
If there were such a thing as RS shares, now would be a good time to buy them!

Um. . .yeah. They haven't said that it'll be UT2007, but they HAVE said it'll be UE3. Just to clarify. Though they MIGHT let BW compete anyways. . . |

The money would be nice, but I think that license would be a biggie for RS, cause then they can really get down to making their game they want to do  and then of course make even more money
But yes, it will be seriously looked at by RS, and if allowed BW will be entered, or maybe make something else

You can distribute through Steam, but I don't know what that would cost to get a Steam license. But you guys could make a game, it'd just be shitload of work and would take many many years. |

Shouldn't be a big problem...steam is a very viable distribution system these days, just look at the games you can get on steam now, at VERY good costs. I personaly think steam is a very good thing (yes, it has it's bad points) and will be the way of future games distribution...the only thing that bothers me is, where is everyone else?? none of the other distributors have something similar! I suppose it is a matter of time... |

yeah... we can do stuff, but it would take time to makea the game we wanna.. BE is starting maps and are looking better.. other problem is we are in f**king Africa!! no such industry exists down here.. hi-speed interent is out of reach, so how are we supposed to contact the rest of the world, especially with other members in other contries? will definetly try getting into MSUC tho..
