This is King of the Turret. Something like King of the Hill but then with a big turret you gotta destroy.

It starts with everyone about the same distance from the Turret, everyone runs to be the first on to enter it.
When someone enters it, everyone goes back to the startpoints. Like Bombingrun.
They get a special weapon that can only reach the turret from a short range. (Draw a line in the map with that distance to show how close yu gotta be) It has unlimited ammo.
Or you can make your own map and place rocket launchers and stuff in it. ^^
Then when the dude is in the Turret and every1 back to start with their fun closerange gun. Everyone runs to the Turret to get in close range, while being shot by the big lasers that do damage you can modify.
Its like Mutant too, nobody can shoot each other, but they can shoot the Turret. Turret kills all.
To win, its a frag limit. Make it big cause youll kill alot.
The turret cant be destroyed, but the dude in it can. If you hit the Turret it damages the dude in it. You can modify the Turret-player's health. If he's dead, you gotta run and enter the Turret.
Everyone respawns again and the battle continues.

You can also do it with vehicles, but I recommend giving the turret alot of power and alot of health.
You can mix this gametype with anything then. And maybe there should be something like Ballistics Arena into it, so you can modify wich weapons you start with.
So not that dump short range weapon over and over again. ^^

Ow yeah some ideas for maps.
1. A turret on the ceiling, use movers to get up there. Recommending not using that short range gun.
2. A ball shaped turret in the middle of a cilinder. People start above and below the turret and use ladders to get up and down. When Turret destroyed every1 starts below so they gotta use ladders and not just fall down.
3. Under Water with 'diving suits' so you wont die to no breath.
4. Space map with spacefighters. Turret is ballshaped.
5. Mover Madness. Alot of movers that move fast, so the Turret needs to aim good.
6. Walkways above magma, dont fall. ^^
7. Long way, turret at the end of a long tunnel with alot of obstacles you can hide behind.
8. Start outside, and enter a big base with the turret inside.

Well thats alot of maps lol.

Uh, yeah but I cant script it cause im n00b xD
I am making an AS map just like it. Defenders start in a circle around a turret control thing. All rush towards it.
The one made it in the turret now controls the turret, the rest can look trough windows, spectate or join attackers.
So the defender sits in his Link Gun turret (Im gonna make my own one with instagib beams, high refire rate)
While attackers rush to destroy the turret with their crappy short ranged guns.

There are more area's
So the first turret to destroy, just in a round arena with pillars.
Second one in Space,
Third one is a long way highway in a cyber city with a fast shooting Ion Cannon, enemy has vehicles

If you are going to make the turret fire IG rounds, maybe you should consider making one able to shoot it from any range with any weapon. Basicly just TDM except it is a whole team versus a turret-maniac. :)

What's so confusing? You talked about you would only be fire from short range with certain weapons, I say you should be able to fire from as far away as you want and with any weapon of choice.

I didnt understand the sentence.
Yeah 1 map would be good 4 that. But arena should be bigger then my current one.

Also, I bumped on the most stupid error in the world.
'SuperClass ASTurret_LinkTurret of Class ASTurret_InstaGibTurret not found'

Thats just not right! I dont get it -.-

The only ones that can help you here is DC or SB as far as I know, I have no experience with UScript nor mapping myself.
