Does anyone here play any of those? I used to play Runescape (lol @ me), got to like lvl 92, but then I just sorta stopped playing... It's gotten a bit boring Now I'm obsessed with Guild Wars: Factions. What an awesome game! And it's free to play online!! |

That MMORPGs are addictive enough to make you lose the connection with your common sense. That's why I stay away from them. |

Meh. I've got better uses for my money than paying for the same game over and over. |

For the above replies: @Bjossi: I don't take RPG's that seriously. It's saddening to say that some people do. I mean, NOW i don't. I used to, but I kinda grew out of it. @Carsomyr: Both RuneScape and Guild Wars are free to play. Runescape has a completely free version, while you need to purchase a CD to play GuildWars. You do not need to pay after the initial purchase, unlike that blood-sucking world of warcraft |

I'm thinking of maybe buying Guild Wars some time, but with all the new 360 games coming out in November i think i'll wait. |

Just buy the ones you want the most, and if you can't choose between 2, then buy both.

Yep, considering you guys need to be able to test BW when you port it to UT2007.

BW for UT2007... sounds kick-ass! Anyways... No, I don't play MMO's... not anymore, at least. It's just so hard to find lamer-free MMO communities nowadays... |

They are packed with 9 year old kids, somewhat like CS but maybe CS is not as bad of a case. |

MMmmm.....not so sure about CS...our local CS servers (games.saix.net) seem to be full of kids, especialy teenagers....actualy more fun listening to them than playing most of the time , and boy can some of them get uptight....

There are NO games out there that don't have 12 year old lamers in them, or at least lamers that act like they're 12 years old. But anyways, I don't know. I'm kind of torn in between a red-eyed FPS maniac and an utterly boring RPG fan. Right now I play more FPS than Guild Wars, but I ... I don't know... I just like RPG's. And i'm getting grades in the high 80s and low 90s in school, so I don't think that I should worry, at least now. |

So then those web comics aren't just stereotyping the typical CS servers? |

obsessing over games, is not such a good thing.. i havent played online for like 8 years, but i'm sure there are immature people on servers, who just suck. just like in reality, theres no escaping them

Well, this happens when immature people play computer games. And they are literally immature, just kids like 13 or 15 year olds. You start to maturize normally around 17 - 18 afaik. |

The numbers are merely the average. I know there are those who stay brats forever! Yeah parents don't bother to bring up decent kids anymore... Just let some black box with a screen do that job instead! And now we have, well... |

self restraint/control is always a good thing
when the guy kills u with a knife in CS, do u jump up and stab him with scissors? or do u just say "F**K".. and keep going.... |

Actually I go find him in the next round and put an AK (or M4) round in his head
They kinda get pissed if you keep targeting them after they do something silly...takes them a while to catch on...I hate it when that happens...I loose my focus for the round and focus on something pointless called revenge.... |
