For some reason everytime I use internet explorer,or open a link on my desktop to the interenet using interenet explorer,a program comes up that says,"Please wait whil windows configures HPIZ402"with a little load bar at the bottom and if I let it load it says,"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.Click OK to try again,or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package HPIZ402.msi in the box below*theres a bar with the words Use Source: Above it*"and if I press cancel a message comes up that says"Error 1706.No valid source could be found for the product HPIZ402.The windows installer cannot continue."and then I press ok and it goes to the web page i tried to open!

Ive been working on getting rid of it for 2 days now and am running out of ideas!

PLEASE HELP,its driving me insane! x)

Maybe you should try an update or possibly switch browsers?

You could start by switching to another browser, IE has more security holes than the number of molecules in my thumb.

But what is that HPIZ402? Your router?

I guess Ill try a different browser, but I have 100% no idea what HPIZ402 means.

Whatever you do make sure your anti-spyware and anti-virus is up to date :)

I would get a couple of different anit-spywares and run them. It sounds to me like somethings hi-jacked your IE.

I think I might of found the problem's source in a folder in my HP folder in program files, its called
{AAC4FC36-8F89-4587-8DD3-EBC57C83374D}
Im not sure if its a virus but I think its whats causing the problem.Theres a lot of files that say HPZI.
I even found a file called HPZID402.It might have to do with an installation problem I had with HP Photo smart because in the folder theres a readme thats about it.Im gona try re-intalling Photosmart.

EDIT:It worked,it was just a problem with my printer intallation, but im still not sure why it was messing up my interenet explorer.

I'd rather say it was messing with the internet connection itself. But you should get a new browser, Opera or Firefox are both of highest quality, you can view porn without having to worry about any malware. 8)

Go FireFox, it cuts down spyware by alot, just try SpyBot (Google it) before FireFox (using IE) run the test, then after when you've switched to FF, you'll see a huge decraese in spyware, unless you go pron searching all night and day.

UglyPants, that is the most inaccurate benchmark method I have read about in a long time. It is true that FF is a lot safer, but IE is fine if you aren't stupid enough to open suspicious websites and spam emails.

I use IE.
I have tried all the others, but IE just keeps getting used!!

IE7 is quite nice.

IE does have it's problems (but don't they all??), but if run a proper anti-virus (not these free ones) and anti-spyware, then there's no problem :)

Anyway, if you want to visit sites with all those things that download and install themselves, then you deserve the problems :)

Well, there hasn't a single security hole been reported with Firefox or Opera, and keep in mind Mac OS X has a few reported.

But since you are pretty old, I can understand why you are so hardcoded. ;)

That's the good part of open source. Holes get seen and fixed :)
BUT problems are not always just holes....just check the bug lists for them :)

age has it's advantages...I was fixing PC's before IE (or the others) was even invented :p
So I seen them come and go....Netscape was actually the first real browser...IE just didn't hold up to it in the begining...but looking at this sites stats, IE is still in front, with Firefox about 20% behind.

Security holes are the biggest bugs though, they make a hacker able to "hypnotize" your PC. !mistrust

Netscape never did the trick for me, I remember when I used it in computer class back in '96 or even earlier, damn browsers have come a long way. :)

Do you use Firefox? I upgraded to version 2.0 and it is a great update, the memory leak bug is no more as far as I can tell. 8)
