Our dialup is 33.6 kilobits per second... Thats theoretical and in practice, its more like 10kbps... We have something called telkom... It takes you already lousy modem speed and makes it even slower... Plus it charges you a fortune to do so... Post edited by: darkcarnivour, at: 2006/04/20 12:40 |

As a former (Allah be praised!!) dialup user I definitely feel your pain...  inch: Hopefully, in a couple of years there will be affordable satellite internet pretty much anywhere, even in SA.
