Well, xmas is coming up and I think me, my bro, and I probably Gnome Smasher are thinking on getting a PSP each for xmas. So, on with the subject. The PSP can link up with other PSPs to play multiplayer games, right? If so, are there any really fun multiplayer games for PSP anyone would recommend? |

all the DS has is the Metroid series (which rocks btw...). i dont like the PSP controls (at all) but its just more of a system to have around (what cant you do with it? besides putting penutbutter on it and eating it of course). |

Actually, I think you can eat it with peanut butter, I seen it myself. 
As for why I'm getting it, well, as much as I despise Sony [consoles], it really is superior to the DS in many aspects. Internet browsing and downloading, able to use programs like emulators on it, movies, and all sorts of media you can use on it. Lets not forget the games, either. 
My main concern is the controls, but I think I can get around it.

Yep, I was thinking about those ones. I was also looking at Infected (is that right?), its got zombies, and its multiplayer, which sounds pretty good to me.

isn't that game just a simple fps that has yous shooting other players to infect them with a virus (in the game, not a real one), so they infect others, if thats the one, then it sounds like it might get boring after a while. |

shouldnt you consider it bad that well.. the psp is just a protable ps2... and the fact that... well.. i just plain sucked as a console and how would it better as a handheld.. |

actually infected is a very good idea its great for opening up a quick can of whoop ass one reccomendation i have is keep your eyes out for bundle packs with the PSP, the ones with a game, movie and 1 gb memory card pay themselves off with the memory card alone dont forget killzone thats definately worth your while too atv: off road fury, although a racer is actually pretty good too twisted metal: head on is worth checking out too...if you like arena combat with vehicles...that series has always been great for some quick multiplay matches with my buds before we break out the hardcore stuff like goldeneye for n64 or any of the soul calibur titles(except the gamecube one...link does not belong in that game) hope this provides some helpful info for you |

Yep... I'd suck too if I became a console... You'd only get to play japanese porn games on me... 
But seriously, if you just wanna have fun with games, console or otherwise, I say just keep quiet and play. A true gamer doesn't know the words "HATE" and "FANBOY"... If you're a "true Sony-hater", chances are, you ain't... Check your house for anything that's Sony-branded, and you'll see what I mean. Anyways, enough of this hardcore gamer sermon... For you, X, I'd recommend a few titles with high replayability and just overall fun-factor (may or may not suit your tastes, though): -Tekken: Dark Resurrection -Me and My Katamari -Killzone: Liberation -Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth |

PSP stands for Playstation Portable, so no shit that it is like a portable version of the PS. And you say that you sucked as a console, that doesn't make any sense. |

For now I just want something thats quick to play and is multiplayer. I'm kind of more interested in all the other features that a PSP has, anyways, but I still would want some games for it. Infected is pretty high on my list so far, Twisted Metal might be pretty fun too. |

Why would anyone use the word Personal? Any console is personally owned by the buyer, but it is tough to use them as handhelds; so portable fits much better. |

Everyone complains about the lack of 2 analog sticks but look at that one console whos name i am drawing a blank on, it had golden eye and it had only one stick and that game was like the best FPS ever. I can get around the one analog stick. and playstation was never big with FPS games any way...But the handheld xbox might be. |
