yeah, to bad you can't view the trailer SB, its awesome. Alright have you ever heard of Transformers? Well if not, they are two robot factions Autobots and Decepticons, who fight against eachother, and it seems in this movie, that the Autobots try to help protect the humans of Earth as the Decepticons intend to oblierate mankind from Earth. Lots of CGI effects! Well i hope that helps a bit SB. |

I haven't seen the trailer... but... (SPOILERS FROM WIKIPEDIA!!!) One of the Transformers is an old Camaro, but gets wrecked and they remake him into the Camaro CONCEPT (2009)! YAY! Now I can finally see them not as fast 18-wheelers and now with Chevy's and Porsche's! (END SPOILERS) |

I haven't seen the trailers, but I always enjoyed transformer. Sorry if this is somewhat off topic, but did anyone here ever see the original movie? Based off of that one, I assume this movie takes place before then. |

well I've seen the original, very good. And i'm sure that if the current movie has anything to do with the original Transformers movie, most likely its after it, since the original was on Cybertron, not Earth. |

The original movie was WICKED SICK, a real classic! This one may be ok, but I don't think it has much in common with the original series except for some names and the basic premise. It's a totally different thing simply because stuff that looks great and makes perfect sense in a comic or cartoon would look pretty stupid IRL. |

The movie changes the story line completely.... Mainly because the original transformers is set WAY in the future... Humans also either love or hate em whereas in this one, no one really knows them, which suggests that in the cartoon, they were man made (hence why they look like our vehicles) however, in this one they supposedly come from... Mars? That can't be right.... lol Also, wasn't there something about the original transformers starring chuck norris who fights drug dealing decepticons? you know, CHUCK NORRIS, MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE! It was pulled due to the amount of violence, deemed unsuitable for kids, they brought out transformers.
