Well here is the trailer for this cool up and coming weapons mod for UT2k4

I am certainly looking forward to it, although they didn't show any of those gore effects that were on there list of included features!

I've been watching this mod forever, great to see that it's nearing release! What I've seen of this mod over the past year or so is just about the only mod I've seen that might be competition for BW.

I'll agree with you there Cas, haven't seen you around much.

I liked the death cam at the end when you died.

Lots of the stuff from this mod have got to be consider (effects only and a few features) for BW.

Well, yeah. It was pretty dead for a long while. Looks like someone found an AED, though.

And yeah, I haven't been around much. I've been really busy with my first simester in college, and I'm at the end of taking a month off from computer games. I'm back to fragging as of christmas.

Dude, i think you totally just surpassed my expectations on BW's 2.0 gore. Theirs doesn't even come close. maybe with that instant blood hits, but still. God, i'm never gonna stop playing 2.0 8)

Okay, back to Off topicness, i really think i'm gonna like this mod, just has that cool look to it, plus the twin barreled rocket laucnher looks sick, and the effects are awesome (but RS is better).

I hope the buying weapons can be configurable to where you can choose what weapons are available and how much they cost. That way, I can play with the BW2.0 weapons!

I looked at it when UP posted a link to it a couple days back, and while I think the guns look interesting, they just don't seem dangerous. BW on the otherhand, well, they certainly look capable of blowing off an arm or two. ;)

Seems an interseting mod, by the way, but I'll stick with RuneStorm. 8)

I used the VLC media player, works just fine (it usually does).

Yeah, same here. Some of the fx like the rocket explosions are really nice, and the models are decent enough, but ultimately it just feels too spammy and cartoonish. Could be different when you actually play it, but probably not. Also, there simply are -and will be- a lot more guns n stuff in BW, which is important because otherwise things get stale after a while. So basically RuneStorm is still king. :)

Their mod only will have the appeal of buying stuff, which is something I hope they make configurable to where I make it to the way I want. I don't care, when their mod comes out, it better have a separate part for buying stuff so I can mod their files to be with the BW weapons! That is the only thing GUnreal has over BW, and that's very minor!
