This sounds like a physical error more than software related, your keyboard is old by any chance?

But try bind movement to a new key and see how that goes.

...yeah i get that occasionally too...its usually when the key sticks down or something, other than that ive had it similarly happen when starting up a game and accidentally holding a key down or something, all you can do then is hope you can hit the quit button while the menu is scrolling at a million miles a second...its like russian roulette without the fatality

my keyboard likes to cut out when im holding the movement a lot

like "lets run straight" *holds W* moves thirty feet.... stops...

i tried binding it to a different key and it did the same thing.

then i bound move forward to my right mouse button and it worked fine, but now when i hit w to fire and release it does the same thing as if i were moving.

might just buy a new key board, for now i im using my mom and dads keyboard.

Well it just a safe bet just to go out into the real world (yes leave your PC room and venture outside) and buy yourself a good new one, logitech has some nice new gaming ones i think.

Good idea, That the only reason i leave my closet, is for food, videogames, and replacing computer parts.

Depends on where you live, if you live in the US can order them from NewEgg if I'm not mistaken.

I have seen keyboards here sold for $100+ US dollars.
I'm currently using a keyboard I got 6 years ago, it's amazing that it still works flawlessly.

Some of those gaming keyboards are rather ridiculous for their prices... I'm sticking with my keyboard that some from a used computer somewhere, it serves me well. :)

Im took my mom and dads keyboard fromtheir computer so i have this 10lb monster sitting on my lap right now, and i have a new respect for ball mouse users.

Im so used to my wireless optical mouse. Ask Xavious he seen it, it has my hand imprinted into it. it completes me.

i also have the terrible misfortune of using a mechanical ball mouse.. it is terrible!! miss my old optical thing.. it was even mad interesting by adding LED's and a plastic creature to the inside, then closing it up again :D (DC did all that)

also lost a couple keyboards over the years.. they just seem to do strange things after a while!

Sounds like a cool mouse. :)

As I was reading your post, SB, my mouse was acting weird...

$80? Thats too much to pay for a keyboard and mouse...

I still use my stock keyboard and mouse even after I accidentally banged my head on it falling over in my chair. Hurt me more than the keyboard... I think I nearly broke the desk it was on though... I saw some cracks on it.

^ lol so true

But I don't have a big head, it was just I fell over pretty fast.

Around 9.8 meters per second, assuming you didn't use any force to control the falling speed.
But damn, "falling" on the keyboard at that speed can't be good...

The desk is only a 1/2 inch thick. Also, the insides of the desk is made entirely of wood shards compacted together, not very strong. So... I doubt the 9.8 meters per second.

I wouldn't doubt it, a 9.8 m/s wind is barely halfway to be considered "a windy weather".
