FP is slow, and i used to have login crap!! but it seems alot better now

For almost five days, I was constantly trying to log in to fileplanet to get me elder scrolls mods. However, it always has the "This page cannot be displayed" page whenever I click log-in. Any one else have this problem? On a side note, even some other sites show me that error when I try to download there... |

FilePlanet has always sucked for that problem for me. Try using FileFront or something. |

I have a mortal vendetta against FP. And I was only barely able to overcome it long enough to get myself a pair of keys for the SupCom Beta. FileFront is much better run, but not as easy to find things on. |

FP isn't my favorite site,"Because of the waits",but I've grown use to it from downloading mods from Planet Elder Scrolls.Kind of a Love-Hate relationship

I suppose love-hate is a fair description of my relationship with fileplanet. I pretend to love it while trying to get close enough to slip a knife between it's ribs. Edit: I hate fileplanet because of how pervasively commercial it is. Sure, I understand the desire to make money at what they do, and I think that anything people are willing to pay for is fair game for things to make them buy, but still. . .It doesn't mean that I have to like them for being ruthless about it. Plus, they're mainstream, and I'm not very fond of mainstream. |

I don't hold it against them. Heck, I might even be doing they same as them in their shoes. But it inconveniences me nonetheless, and I treat it as such. |

I just notice something: Most pages where you have to move into a seperate page to login dont work for me. I think my comp has some problems. Hotmail won't work, FP won't work (My #1 source for TES mods! Argh!!) I think that's because of my router... I found my wire disconnected one day and plugged it right back in. Since then, I couldn't function Hotmail OR FP. I mean... use... not function.. |

dont forget fileplanet has teh crapy download maniger it always crashes and when i try to ugrade it it just crashes |

Making money is one thing, but buisness practices are another, and i for one dont like their buisness practices, especially not how they have treated their hosted sites and tried to lay claim on their content and destribution. There's a good reason why BU was formed by old PU staff as an alternative to PU. |
