Cool. Can we say how much we hate oil companies? Really... awesome They suck a**, cause they are corporate big shots who only give a rats ass when it has to do with money. Stupid oil. |

My thoughts on oil: It is needed to only run our vehicles mainly, as most oil is used for gasoline as far as I know. If we can just get rid of the need for oil in cars, we saved at least 300 bucks each month, saving us about 3600 each yeah. Unfortunately, oil companies realize that is a lot of money they'd end up losing, and would pretty much bankrupt them, causing them to make companies not make vehicles that run on electricity only and stuff. |

The Us is sitting on enough oil to last us until we get a new president and possible a better one who which will then make bio diesel vehicles and solar, hydrogen and all those good vehicles more available and afordable |

Actually, OCAdam, that oil is used for a LOT more than just running our cars, but again, as you said, there already are alternatives for its other uses which we should be embracing... Oh yeah, and in response to Bjossi, Bush's dad has his hands in the oil business does in fact tie Bush Jr. into the equation. If he needs money, he justs asks daddy. |

We don't need respect from the middle east....They should respect us I mean cmon in the Gulf war we could've finished the war we had our missiles locked onto Saddam. Then instead of letting themselves fix there own problems good old America decides to give Saddam weapons and repair his country for him! If we would have just killed him then and there we MIGHT not be in a war over cheap oil losing young men and women who could be solving diseases or helping feed the poor or any of the good beneficial things they could be doing instead of dying. Don't get me wrong I respect the men and women fighting but we went over to Iraq initially looking for WMD's and we didn't find any and now government officials are saying that was rigged! |

Thats the thing about a capitalist government. Its all about the money and making a name for yourself. Personally I like George Bush SR. and JR. Everyone complains that the president has made horrible mistakes and is running the country all wrong, but if you look at it, wich president has ever run the country right, no matter who you have in office someone will always say he's doing a bad job or we should of had the other guy. Sure this war isnt great but if we werent gonna do it who would of? Sure we are losing soldiers, but they joined the military knowing they were going to be in harms way, they were not forced out on the battle feild its something they signed up for and they are great people for doing so. About the oil thing, I think everyone on the forums should help develop a hydrogen powered car and burry the Gas companies. that would be the coolest car ever

It is a fact that invading Iraq was a mistake, you just have to see the number of deaths to realize that. If they would have waited for Saddam to die from high age, casualties would have been multiple times lower and the US wouldn't be monsters in the eyes of the muslim countries. |

The whole world hates us...besides Canada and England but there usually always on our side. I remember when the French got mad because the US changed the name "Fries" to "Freedom fries" hehe. And about the war its gonna become like Vietnam where were not gonna be able to withdraw and the casualties will keep rising. |
