My ut2k4 dvd won´t start. I deleted the game to save memory in my hard drive. Then now when I want to Install it again the dvd won´t start. I nearly starting to cry. buheehahahae :((

First, make sure your DVD drive still works, you can confirm this by trying another DVD in the drive.

If it does work, make sure the UT04 DVD isn't badly damaged.

If its not badly damaged try checking in My Computer and see if the drive recognizes the DVD by seeing what the icon says under your DVD drive.

If it does show UT2004 or something similar, try right clicking it, click Open, and look for an install.exe (or something similar)

Double click it if you find it, it should start the installer.

doesn´t work. It shows the logo in my computer I clicked on it and tryed to start setup.exe but it won´t start.

I think he might be a lttile too used to GFAQs and GSpot for the no edit feature...

No actually I often go to FileFront but the same thing no edit button. And why I was so happy is because my dvd copy of ut2k4 (not illegal I have the Editor Choice Edition) started and was completelly installed after the first try. Because I tryed before about some month ago and I needed to istall it 4 times to make it work right. And yeah C4 is the best thing for any problem(haha)

Why did you say that your copy isn't illegal? Everyone knows the game is released on both DVD and CD form. :?

Well, there were a guy in my class that downloaded illegal files and put the games into dvds. I think downloading illegal files is wrong.

why am i not suprised by hear ing that happen to him/......

by the way priacy is meant for the ocean not the intereweb
