Hey

so i thought i'd throw some of our various arts up here.. from many years ago, to current stuff, and some BW weapon art..

DC did the weapon arts, and those demon faces.. also the concept of the demon with 6 arms, and marine.. those were done years ago :)

that rendered looking dino thing, is my 1 million poly test model.. just starting to learn zbrush :)

on topic- I remember some of those way back...and some not so way back :)
I'm proud to say I have an original drawing of theirs, given as a present somewhere along the way :)

cool..

i think the oldest is that marine and demon with 6 arms.. DC's ol stuff.. them 2 shields is also purdy old like ;)

the laser gun, skrithy razor gun, and crossbow, were drawn long before the newer guns were designed.. they may go in one day :D

The RazorJack kind of gun above does look good indeed, I'd love to see a skrithy version of it. And start shooting ricocheting projectiles and take off heads. 8)

Spammy weapons don't exist. It is just an excuse when you don't like losing a match.

Now, I think you are talking about the Cutter, which was pretty crappy weapon, especially visually...

Only time it was spammy was when you used the RPG mut and had your weap speed to 1000%.

I love those drawings, and hope to see some of those weapons implemented (and to eventually get my sketches that good). Crossbow especially looks cool.

If you're gonna make a razor-slinger, PLEASE go for power over speed, like the UC2 Ripjack, instead of fast-moving, 25-damage pieces of crap like the CUT2 Cutter. Sawblades are not meant for flying, they're meant for killing.

Crossbow is a type of weapon, not a specific model.
You might just as well have said "Doom used a shotgun so all other games stole the idea!".
