whoo you are really really really talent! :D

And how do I use the sytrus? :? It´s only classic sound on it.
Or is it so that I need a usb/midi keyboard with a couple of sounds
and then I can mix the sounds with the sytrus?
Cuz I don´t have a usb/midi keyboard. !sad
Great tracks too.

Good stuff, especially FromTheDepths, Sentinel & Omega (I think). 8) Listened to it while playing the latest UCMP maps, which, somewhat disappointingly, don't have any custom music.

Btw, one of the best custom tracks for UT2K4 is The Freek, which comes with DM-CBP1-Elegance. The music and map form an almost hypnotic whole, which is definitely the way it should be. DM-Entropic and its music are another good example of successful, albeit slightly more subtle, symbiosis.

Hmm... Mebe they could come packed with BW2.0... So the next time you guys make maps for BW, these will be their default music.

That probably won't happen, as 2.0 is already a hefty download size.

Might as well just release it seperately, methinks.

I agree with Xav, it is enough pain for SB and DC to upload 2.0 already.

REVIEW: "DJ ShadowBlade makes some Ballistic Noise!!!"

Okay... I'm actually listening to SB's Track 1 mix as I write this...

... I think I'm gonna start calling him DJ Blade from now on...

All kidding aside... SB's mixes are great all-in-all, they're perfect for a UT fragfest or even Club Music (since they sound mostly like Trance). Also, I found a very distinct pattern in the way SB mixes his music...

... At first, the music sounds mostly like its title suggests (for example, Core Meltdown really DOES sound like an alarm going off and telling people to get the f00k outta there...), but all of a sudden, somewhere in the middle, the musical pattern changes. It almost feels like a different song entirely but with the same title. The most drastic I've heard this is, ironically, also from Core Meltdown wherein the music ACTUALLY STOPS to usher in the different music pattern. And not only that - it actually occurs twice in Core Meltdown, giving a total of three different mixes under the same title.

In the end, SB justifies the differentiating patterns by combining them near the end of the music, but as is with all combined elements, one pattern will always be more dominant than the other (or, in case of combining three musical patterns, only ONE will be the most dominant).

But like I said earlier, SB's mixes are nice to listen to/rave along with, but it's not without flaws. Just keep up the good work, SB... 'coz hey, who knows? You might be the next Tiesto or Kaskade in the future...

Wow... you sound like you know what you're tallking about. :p

All I know is that this is some great music. :D

I really like Omega and Oxygenisis, probably my favorites. :)

This music fits nicely with my current play list, which was already reaching past 4 or 5 hours in length. :D

I like Core Meltdown the best so far, and so far, Omega as the next best. I'm listening to the rest right now. I've just gotten to Omega. 6:20 in...

Extra-

Core Meltdown: Sounds like there IS a core meltdown! I've changed the theme of Juggler to fit this music and be with a bit of feel like this song. Also, it's used AS the song for the level! Hehe... I like the biowaste area in the middle of the Rocket Room now... it actually fits with the music!

Cryogenic: Sounds like a heavy biogenetics facility that has the place filled with cyborgs running the place over and are going slowly but surely.... I dunno.

Omega: Sounds like a techno version of Bond music in a way somehow to me... I dunno why...

Oxygenesis: Sounds like a biolab type of level being played in, or an SSX Tricky Alaska style level... I like it! Seriously, it would go well with a massive sort of level, one that fills you with complete thoughts of success to have unlocked the level... just like how it should feel to get Alaska in SSXT... I might make a snow level that uses this in Onslaught...

Phoenix: Hmm... sorta like a level mean for an airport... like Perfect Dark in the lower sections of the Airbase. Sneaking around.... then you get caught. And you start to kick some ass!! Nice...

Sentinel: Industrial type level for this one obviously to me. Sorta like one form NFS:Carbon, except an FPS version of the industrial section of the city. Very good for maybe a scene where there is a hostage rescue... and all hell breaks loose... and calms back down and goes into hell again.
