This is my Mosin Nagant M-44. Out of all of my rifles its probably my 3rd most favorite. This Rifle was developed near the end of the second world war (by developed I mean a permanent folding boyonet was attached). It fires the 7.62x54Rmm round. It wieghs approximately 9 lbs. This rifle in the picture was never used, it was produced, put into storage and never saw actual combat so this one is in great condition the rifleing is brand new and all the parts are beautiful. about 90 to 95% of the finish is still there. The stock is another thing in great condition with all the original stampings and not much actual damage to the stock itself. All the serial numbers match on the rifle further enhancing its collectibilty. This rifle only cost me 80 dollars. !lol [br][br]

11 inches shorter, its more of a calvary carbine than a soldiers rifle. the bayonet makes up for length.

Actually, many M44's are unissued, they where ment to be used in a big offensive against Japan, an offensive that never became a reality.

Hence many of them are in great condition today, they where packed in Kosmoline and stored as soon as they came off the assembly line, only a few saw any combat.
A bit of a waste, but great news for gun collectors today! ;)

These 2 are my M91/30s. The one on the top has a laminated stock, the one on the bottom has a normal stock, the main difference besides the stock of these 2 rifles is the botto, one has the hexagonal reciever the one on top has the round reciever. Being around 11 inches longer than the m44 and the m38 they have considerably less recoil and have better accuracy. the rifle on the bottom has force matched serial numbers and was refurbished some time between the 1930s and 1950s, the top one however is harder for me to tell but i believe they were forced matched too. This series of mosin nagant was used exstensively buy the soviet union during the second world war, the condition on these rifles range from attrocious to brand new. The prices range around 60 to 100 dollars. I bought both of mine for 80 dollars, I love these guns so reliable and sturdy yet affordable, very affordable actualy. !lol [br][br]

Btw, reminds me of this classic phrase: "They'll never ban your hunting rifle...they'll call it a sniper rifle first." A terrorist sniper rifle. Oh my!

5 bucks? You got ripped off, man! You can get 880 rounds for under $90 if you know where to look (and don't count for shipping and handling)

Ok my new gun, good thing those nagants are so cheap because i got ripped off on this new one, but I dont care parents bought it for me !lol
This is my Steyr M95 in beautiful condition, well to me at least. Brand new fired maybe 5 times. The bayonet looks like it was produced yesturday. The rifleing is in good condition, the stock is really nice shows only handling marks and the blueing is about 98% all serial #s match. I havnt shot it yet because the ammo is so hard to find 8x56Rmm so im having trouble finding it.

The rifle is a bolt action that uses the straght pull action instead of rotating handle, This one was made in austria, but many were produced in budapest. Thes were used by german police forces during ww2 and by reservists. Also used by the italians in post ww1 (captured weapons)

Many began with 8x50Rmm but later were rechambered for 8x56Rmm Then again fir the mauser 8x57mm round. the way to tell the difference is the ones marked with an S above the reciver are the ones that accept the 8x56Rmm. Still if you own one and do not know the caliber, take it to a Licensed gunsmith and have him or her check. I have heard that Hornady is gonna start producing the ammo, dont know if theres ant truth to it but i hope they do.

These carbine versions have a realy bad recoil so im gonna buy a rubber slip on butt pad fo it, one that i can slip on and off.

Once i get some ammo and fire it ill tell you all how it shoots.[br][br]

What country do you live in? If its America you can own guns as long as your above 18. I dont know about canada or anything. Great Britain they can only own double barrel shotguns I think.

Airsoft mosins...I bet they will cost like twice as much as the actual gun. The next gun on my list is probably a WASR-10. Basicaly an ak-47 but can only fire in semi auto, so its legal in Michigan...stupid gun laws. Of course not as bad as countries where you cant even own a gun but still.
