Post subject:  Black Belt
There are two things that are happening tomorrow that I am greatly looking forward to.

One is the release of BW 2.0.
The other is my testing for a black belt! !amazed

I've been going to Tae Kwon Do for about 7 years now and it is all about to pay off. 8) We have to test for 4 hours, break some cinder blocks and run 5 miles. While most Tae Kwon Do's in the US make it very easy to obtain a black belt, lowering the value of having one, ours is significantly harder and I'm proud to be recieving one.

Is anybody else here enlisted in the martial arts? If so, share your stories. :)

So when you fight other black belts, you seriously are the better black belt?

I was just a green belt... or was it orange? Which was higher? Because I remember it was the higher of the two...

I wear no belt...so im a black SPANDEX!

seriously though, i think its pretty cool. i might look into martails arts as a way to focus and get into shape.

Black Spandex must be great. :p Martial Arts is a lot of fun and is very helpful in keeping fit. :)

I think green is the higher of the two, it goes white, yellow, orange then green.

Only martial arts I've ever done involve the use of a sword, except for a little work I've done with a couple friends who teach taekwondo, a friend and his dad who run a karate dojo, and another friend of mine who I go to college with who is on Bulgaria's national karate team.

But that's awesome, congrats on your black belt!
