Post subject:  MP5 model in the works.....
i started a new model since my AK47 and every thing got deleted.....

this is a MP5, its not very realistic but i want to at least make it look like one. its not done yet and it has a ways to go but i needed to take pics so i could get help from some one, so i decided to just let u guys see how its going so far. i need to fix the stock and handle and add many other parts of the gun on(i know, im just not there yet).

so any ways its not done yet but im going to keep working on it, then i hope to god i can texture it lol. i havnt modeled or done any texturing for a long time...........

let me know how it looks so far, criticism is welcome.....

Hmm... So far, so good...

But if you're interested, somebody's already made an MP5K model and used it as a Weapon Mutator for UT2... Try searching for it in the Epic Forums!

yeah i remember that mp5 was released,
i just felt like making one.

this wont exactly be for ut2004 either if it gets completed, no UED for mac users......

thanks uglypants, dont worry about the AK im sure this one will turn out much better any ways 8) (im working real hard on it).

i sent it to this one guy who said he could fix my problem so after he sends it back i can get back to work on it

i doubt RuneStorm would want it...... not because its a bad model but because its not the same quality as the other BW work. I havnt talked to the RS team about donating models yet but i figure its something that will happen very rarely.

im not going to shoot for high poly like i did for the AK.... im going to give this the look it should have the best i can do it.

well any ways i'll do my best on it.

The best is the only thing we can ever do James.

Yeah, they'd give it the RS touch, namely an entire overhaul (re-modeling). Still what will you do with it once its completed? Just create it for the experience (no not experience points you dummy)?

i dont know if it would need an entire overhaul but it would need some tweaking all around so it fits their liking. well i would like to find some way to use the model, if i cant make use of it i'll give it to some one who can. and gaining experience is always good........

i redid the stock and went over a few things(the stock before was ugly lol). the poly count is good atm, im not shooting for high like i did with the AK this one is just naturally coming out detailed. well its a good model so far and im fairly busy and will continue working on it slowly(i havnt spent any solid time on this, just random segments thats why its not done yet).

well i think its turning out better than the AK(before it got trashed...), let me know what you think(thanks).

Quick question: would the stock be retractable or will it be lengthened? Unless you're scratching your armpits as you fire, I can't quite see how the stock would be of use, although the HL2 smg didn't seem to have any length to its stock if I recall right...
