That grayish blur is the shockwave that this gun fires. Look at the far end of it, and how it looks shimmery and cool and such!

This is an extreme alpha version of one of my planned weapons, which is a concussion cannon, simply showing off the idea and functionality.It's obviously still in progress, and still has debug-style refilling ammo and no new model. The alternate firemode is planned as a shockwave that radiates from your character, blowing away everything nearby (including projectiles!) It's current damage is the amount it is supposed to do when fired point-blank, as it's supposed to decrease in damage over distance.

-The projectile will have its collision size reduced so it can actually fit through doorways and such, but will retain a wide effective damage area.
-The projectile will lose force as it flies, reducing damage and knockback depending on distance (this is a close-combat weapon, after all).
-WILL NOT COMPLETELY FSKING RAPE VEHICLES!!!

Sorry, no mutator. You'll have to use Arena, WoRm, or SwapTool to use it. Or, you could throw it in with Ballistic Arena, Swap, or Loadout.

Edit: Hold on, I missed something stupid and it's not working right with WoRm...

I like how the idea is similar to the Dispersion Gun of TS:FP.

That's the inspiration! But, I think the shimmers on the Dispersion Gun were just heat waves from the plasma being fired, but this one actually fires shockwaves that hit with blunt trauma.

Something fun I just found out, this thing has such massive knockback that it's possible to juggle a Hellbender in the air! Also, it kills most vehicles in one hit for some reason...

Work hard on this. Make it better. Have a kick-ass design for it. Make it compatible for Ballistic Weapons (hand models and all), and I will worship you for the rest of my life.

'Make it better', 'make a kickass design' have awfully wide meanings don't you think?

I don't wanna demand "specifics". It ain't my work, so I should just give suggestions.

I do plan on perfecting this thing (I need to get to know Maya...), but I don't think I'm doing hand models. Although, if RS wants to make a BW version of this, then by all means they can. I'm actually going for a look that will let me mix it with the stock UT stuff and not have clashing styles.

I have a model of a hand that you could use, actually. Its fairly decent looking, although the fingers are a bit squarish. Just email me if you want it.
