I was watching a clip of Ghost Ship on YouTube, and that was the goriest thing I have ever seen, and I think it's creepier than Saw III. It's a 2002 film about an abandoned cruise and really creepy stuff in it. The intro (wire scene) is so decieving man. Cheerful dance music then silent horror ambience (followed by gruesome gore scenes.). If anyone hasn't seen this movie yet, search "Ghost Ship Sample Scene," or something along those lines, and find the one that starts with cheerful music
You guys can also discuss other movies like The Hills Have Eyes, 28 Weeks Later, The Reaping, etc. |

I was happy with Saw III, it retained a plot and kept a sence of mystery and intruige. Instilling a fear of the unknown is alot more effective than seeing someone getting gibbed. At the same time it placed people in nasty but beleivable situations. If gore is done correctly it can still make me flinch, lets hope Ghost Ship is one such movie. Sounds good from your description. After playing Unreal Tournament for so long, alot of other Horrors fail to amuse me. Most Horrors I see nowadays is someone getting gibbed with the flak cannon, only it involves half naked blond chicks running-screaming through DM-Insidious while a skaarj hunts them wearing a black cloak and brandishing a knife. And of course too many Horrors are infested with porn or sex scenes that dont belong. Who else thinks Good Gore movies are getting rare? |

I just think Ghost Ship is too underrated. It is actually pretty clever, but I just think that people believe that the intro is the only thing that is "scary." I wonder why they don't consider that hook scene creepy. It wasn't too gory, the beginning is the most gory, but I don't think all scary movies need too much gore. By the way, my fave scene in Saw III is "I forgive you!" And then the guy takes the razor and rips Jigsaw's throat open. Then you know what happens next.

Meh... too much BW desensitized me from gore in-general... And too much DooM3 and Fear made me adept at anticipating screamer moments... DK: "Y'know, It may just be my gut, but I got a feeling something's coming outta that window in about a few-" *Imp crashes from the window* DK: "Yyyyep~ I knew it... =__=" |

Gory movie = 300, now that is one blood filled movie, which is awesome, every stab of the Spartans spears or a slash of there swords causing blood and stuff to fly everywhere, one awesome scene had Leonidious slashing off a soldier's leg just above the knee cap i think, but be assured, their was much blood. |

"THIS IS SPARTA!!!" That phrase got one of my friends SOO pissed that if anyone refered to 300, he would sock them in the face. I never watched it (I don't get to go to theaters much), but I heard it is awesome. |

Man, sucks for his friends. It is a great movie. Though Xerxes is a tad odd. |

Oh here is the Ghost Ship wire scene in the begginning. Don't think that it's the wrong clip in the begginning if it does appear. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkHTIz361Po |

Of course it's wrong, how can one wire cut cleanly through them like a slice of bread? If you guys watched the clip, which one freaked you out the most? The captain? The guy's pants that fall off? |

His undies are still on, relax! I've been around freaks in my house that run around in their loose boxers that almost fall off, so it doesn't bother me. My lil' sis was like, "Gee, that is so fake.." Then the captain's head fell off and then...
"HAHAHAHAHA!!" I was thinking that she'd get freaked out but she said it was funny. |

I'm just kidding though. Although seeing me stating the obvious or being retarded in person will leave you with a heart attack.

Well actually that is possible you just need a huge momentum and a fine enough wire and of course the right angle (like a piano wire ) they used it in some war to decapitate enemy scout bikers. You just need the right place on the human body aswel it needs some soft tissue and not to much bones . But it will be messier its not such a clean cut . Bye the way the since i like the most of ghost ship is the one in the fishtank you know that cilindrical one in the middle of the ballroom |
