I have been using 2 soundcards for a long time, recently changed the default soundcard to the one with the headphones instead of the speakers, and now ut2004 sounds through headphones. is there somewhere an option in the ini files to make it use again the other soundcard ? |

You can't have two soundcards installed at the same time. I'm not really sure what you mean, since UT2004 doesn't have a soundcard option. You'll have to check out the settings in your card's audio console, most of the time it is accessible in Control Panel. |

I guess I'll have to change the default one again just for ut2004. About not being able to have two cards, why wouldn't that be possible ? In fact, I have two, so its possible. Probably not common, but possible. May be you refer to something else than having two physical soundcards installed ? Thx for the reply. |

You can have two cards installed in your motherboard, but an attempt to have both of them enabled at the same time is murdering your OS. If one card works better then by all means use that one instead. |
