I'm thinking of buying a new PC. I want to build in my old HDD and buy a fast one (Seagate Barracuda 7200.10) for my games. The specs, as it is now, will be: Case: Cooler Master Mystique 632S PSU: Zalman ZM500-HP MoBo: GigaByte 965P-DS4 (Rev. 3.3) CPU: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 GPU: Foxconn 8800 GTS Overclocked (640 MB) Mem G.E.I.L. 2 GB DDR2-800 Kit HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (250 GB) DVD+RW Writer: LG GSA-H42L Floppy Drive: Sony Floppydrive Please tell me if this is a good system. |

Thanx for the replies! ^^ Now I gotta save about two months for the remaining money. (about 200~300 Euro's, allready hit the 1000 Euro barrier! ^^) That'd be fall 2007, with a holiday between from end June 'till end August. I'll maybe post some pics once it's finally standing next to my desk. ^^ |

Well the prices on computer parts usually drop in mid June through July, so you might not have to spend as much on that system, and in turn you might be able to get it quicker. Though i don't know if that happens in Europe, it does in North America. |

If you want to know why I need new space, consider this: Oblivion takes up more than 8GB (Game, 2 Expansions, all Official Addons, and tons of mods). Morrowind takes up a few GBs (Maybe 5?) (Game, 2 Expansions, and Mods) Titan Quest takes 4.7GB UT2004 Takes up more than 9GB (Game and Mods) Counter-Strike Source, Half-Life 2, and GMOD take up about 4 or 5 GB together. B&W2 takes up 4GB. The Movies takes up 4GB Battlefield 2 Deluxe takes up... I think 4GB again.. I don't know what else is in my comp, but I have less than 30GB Free out of 160. |
