Very nice. Reminds me of terrain around here. With less trees, and greener grass.

And on the topic of global environment, most of the weather and climate trends seem to be too well-entrenched anyways. Looking at geologic history, we're pretty close to the end of the current warm period between ice ages. Right now, our planet's geography lends itself to ice ages that last around 100,000 years broken up by 10,000 year warm periods, and we're pretty close to the end of this warm period. None of us will likely live to see the start of the next ice age, but it'll probably come. And not overnight like that "day after tomorrow" junk.

All that is of course, just how I (and a hefty portion of the scientific community) see things, and it's very possible that I'm wrong. But for the moment, much of the planet is amazingly beautiful. Glad you enjoyed your hiking trip, SB, south africa looks amazing.

Google Maps Go to this page, if the points don't show up, then in the search bar, type in "monks cowl" and you will find it :)

BTW, if you pan towards the bottom right (South East), you will see a town called Howick. That's where the devs hide :p

Yes... RS did go hiking... This does seem unlikely? It is surprisingly not...

We only hiked about 12KMs the first day, but parts were more climb than hike, especially that end part!
Then the next day a meager 7KMs hike...

My wheel chair kept getting caught on things...

As for envormental problems... Anyone who thinks people are not doing any damage is obviously a insane or worse, political...
