I'm not really impressed by the graphics, the UE2.5 is pretty outdated anyways. And I'm not going to download it, way too big. :S |

hmm...... i didn't know cross hairs decided if a game sucks or not. you can't say those graphics are bad (well you can but thats just asinine). whys it seem that any mod EXCEPT BW sucks (to you guys)??? i am beginning to think you people have no other interest. maybe you dont like zombies but dont talk unless you can actually back you opinions up. sure BW rocks but i want something more than just guns and cool explosions.......... btw, i dont see any negative comments there so............ James, I'm playing Doom 3 at Ultra 1024 x 768 with 16xAF and 8xAA, I get average 60 FPS which is the max FPS of the game, so don't tell me what good graphics are. 
Maybe you think the screenshots look great because you aren't spoiled like me. After I got my new computer, it will be hard to impress me with graphics, especially outdated graphics like UE2.5 delivers. |

I don't think the graphics OWN SO BAD but I don't think they're crappy either, when I compare them to UT. That's beside the point, anyway. I'm not downloading it because I've no interest in more zombie-slaying, even if it is coop. If I want cooperative play, I'll fire up UT and play a team objective game. For those who are into zombie games, it looks like a good mod to watch. :sick: IMHO, though, naked zombies just shouldn't exist; anatomically correct or Barbie style, it's just too creepy either way. It's a lose-lose situation.  ry:

Intel, better than AMD...you gave me a good laugh there. :lol: You need to face the fact that the Macs aren't made for gaming, my computer will most likely be much better only because of better compability, not neccesarily because of better hardware. :S EDIT: I'm not familiar with the higher-end Macs but here is a benchmark of Doom 3 from March this year if you're interested. http://www.macworld.com/news/2005/03/16/doom3/index.php From what I can see, my computer is at least three times faster than these numbers. I think you can download Windows styles that resemble the Mac GUI. And Windows is pretty virusproof if you get yourself one of the free virus protections.

KF 2.0 looks better than the old one.. but still no crosshairs? wtf..
Various factors on these forums, have shown me that a Mac is not the way to go:dry: no offence.. mind you, it probably is kinda hard to switch platforms after years.. same like software really.. just gotta give em a try..
