Well, thats it, i'm now on my new uber PC, but the thing that sucks is that it won't play avi files for some reason, whenever i run it through windows media player (i got the newest one), it just gives me a error with codec and then only plays the audio and no visuals. So, can anyone help me out? And i don't want to pay money, if DELL was able to get it working on my old one, i should be able to do it with this one. Okay, here's a update. Turns out i only have Windows media player 9, so i'm getting 11 now, so hopefully that will fix it. Another update, seems my new computer likes downloading at 14 kb a second, stupid thing. Here's a third update. Seems some of the newer vids do play, very odd. |

There are thousands of AVI codecs out there, might be a problem to gain compatibility with that in mind. I suggest installing the K-Lite codec pack if you haven't already, it covers all the most common codecs. |
