My brothers went out and got an Xbox360. Ugh, how I loathe consoles. Oh, well. I suppose this makes a good excuse to pick up Gears, eh?

Just hope I don't get console-cooties. :P

Yeah.

Dead Rising is a bitch of a game, if you can get passed same flaws, its a good game for zombie slashing.

gears is a must, same with Halo 2, Call of Duty 2 is great also on the 360 (better than CoD3).

Lost planet is definitely worth it, gears is aawesome, and Halo3 will be the reason to own a 360.

Wrong. The reason to own a 360 is out right now: Forza Motorsport 2. Halo 3 isn't something to loo forward to on 360. Maybe PC when it's ported (if ever) though, but then it'll be hitting UT3 head-on (and then subsequintially given a Headshot!).

Halo 3 is pretty much the most anticipated game ever at this point. And I doubt it will get a PC port anytime soon.

Also, UT3 is getting a 360 and PS3 release as well, so Halo's going to compete with UT3 anyway.

Well, if Halo was on PC, it'd have a way tougher time to win. Consoles Halo would win, but I'd say UT3 would win for PC. There's where I'm headed on my statement. :)

I just hate Halo myself. It was way too boring and slooooowww.... Okay... gotta go left.... uh-oh, I gotta fight a buncha guys and... wait.... I can't run worth a crap so I can't barely try to escape when I find I'm needing to reload!!! NOOOO!!!! *dies, respawns* Oh great... gotta go through about 5 minutes of crap to get to that point again...

I thought halo had one hell of a single player mode.

I hear all these complaints about slow movement and stuff, but really, its not that big of a deal. Not every game is going to be fast paced. Plus if there were really long stretches you're probably given a vehicle anyways.

As for reloading, you need to conserve your shots... Don't miss so much and you won't have to reload as much. ;)

But aside from that, Halo 3 is the reason I am getting an Xbox 360 (or two). ;)

I am going to buy an adapter to let me use keyboard and mouse in a few days, so I'll be able to play my Xbox FPSs pretty much like any PC game, only with less lag and better networking abilities (and much more portable!). :P

Well there are some places where when I do hit every shot, there just are too many to kill in one clip.

If you get two 360s, get two TVs and FM2.... then hook 'em up! 2 TV'd action!

If someone gave me 4 more 360s, 3 TVs the same as the one I have now, 1 TV that is super small and is HD (rearview mirror), and 4 more FM2 copies, I'd be in heaven....

I could just look around and see everything around me! And I could use that rearview mirror for not needing to always look to the back TV! Then I can finally see that ass Rossi without having to look back and run into walls... and then I can make him wreck when he tries to crash me! Stupid AI....

Yes, the AI all have different personalities, and Rossi's is the 'get best car' idea. He also seems to want to always crash me....
