The movie was so amazing. Yes it did have awkward dialog, but who cares, the action all but makes up for it.

Optimus Owned BoneCrusher! Decapitation Style.

Though i personally would have liked the movie to not have bothered with the lead actor (shia) and that girl, it would have been way better without them. At least some of it centered on those military guys, though personally I'd rather have had the movie with a very small human aspect in it and just the humans reacting to these giant robots fighting eachother

But what has to be the best is the Mountain Dew transformer, mountain dew cans of ownage.

Does anyone else think that it was odd that bumbleBee didn't use the cube to repair himself (like Frenzy did)? Also why was it that all the mechanicals things when turned into transformers (mountain dew machine, Xbox 360 (do i hear product placement) and that steering wheel) they were evil from the get go, why is it, its not like Megatron made those ones evil?

Another thing that caught me totally off guard was Barricade was a police car, i thought that was Jazz. And speaking of Jazz, man sucks to be him, torn in half by Megatron.

And who would have guessed Scorponok appeared in the film, that truly surprised me. Also, BlackOut owns.

Oh well, can i hear a Starscream for ruler of the Decepticons in the sequel!

All in all Transformers is a great movie, made me feel like i was ten watching Beast Wars or the Transformers movie.

Agreed, amazing movie, and agreed, awkward dialogue. It was worth it, though.

LOVED the optimus vs. bonecrusher fight. Heck yeah. Too bad that's the only time optimus got his sword out.

Yeah, I don't get why bumblebee didn't use the cube either. Totally messed up. But then, if he had healed himself, then they couldn't have done that junk with bumblebee riding on the back of a tow truck.

Barricade's always been a police car, hasn't he? But yeah, I'm with ya about jazz getting totaled. Jazz has always been my favorite. I hated how little screentime / lines he got, and that he was the ONLY autobot to get killed. Gah.

I just hope he gets resurrected in the sequel. I'm almost positive he will. Remember optimus pulling that shard of the cube out of megatron's chest? Yeah. Jazz WILL be back.

Scorponok was an odd choice, but I'm really glad he was in there. Easily my favorite decepticon.

Starcsream as leader? Ugh, please. He's cool and all - his fight with the f-22's was short and amazing. But, you know, I've never been that fond of him. Neither scorponok or barricade got killed either unless I've missed it somehow.

I don't know who else would be a good leader, though. They pretty effectively killed off megatron, smothering his spark in the cube and all.

But yeah, awesome movie. Definetly looking forward to sequels.

EDIT: Oh, and about the transformers created by the cube, my guess would be that they weren't actually evil, per se, but weren't programmed at all, and therefore treated anything that wasn't a fellow transformer as potentially hostile. I mean, the cell phone one in the cage? I don't blame him for immediately trying to destroy his little prison and the giant fleshy creatures peering in at him.

EDIT#2: Definetly didn't need as much of a civilian human element. That just got annoying. Bleh. Pesky civvies. The military stuff was fine. Oh, and did you notice that they when they called in the A-10's and the C-130 on skorponok, they used the code Foxtrot - Tango - Whiskey? Airstrike FTW?

yea transformers was kick ass but that little love/romantic scene near the end just threw off the movie wtf was that?

But you have to remember that Starscream is always trying to get ahead of Megatron, being a big time traitor (ever seen Transformers: The Movie?) he also does it in the Beast War shows. He's always been Megatrons right hand robot, but if a chance ever arises, he'll try to take over command of the Decepticons.

Indeed, love scenes should NOT be in a Transformers movie.

Yeah, yeah, I know all about starscream's little power trips. Still don't like the idea of him being in charge of the decepticons.

Honestly. What's a transformers movie without Megatron?

Yeah, thats exactly my thoughts. If there's a sequel (which there will be no doubt), you'll have the Decepticons being led by good old Starscream after Megatrons demise, then somehow Megatron will show up again and beat the robotic crap out of starscream for believing he was dead.
