The local train which my father was going home by got struck by a lightning bolt and a fire began, so all the passengers had to take another train, which happily got stuck an hour later because of some sort of emergency ahead, probably another train damaged by the thunderstorm that blocked the way. It's 1.10 AM now, the train is parked at some sort of emergency depot devil knows where and my dad is stuck there along with a hundred or two of unlucky co-passengers. It's the first time in my life that such a bad story happens to my family on Friday, 13th (well, it's 14th already...) Every time July thunderstorms come to our region, LAN networks go belly up and railway infrastructure suffers from lightning strikes a lot.

Fortune cookies have nothing to do with superstitions... They just say obvious, generic things that don't mean anything, like "anyone can receive advice, but only the wise use it." You are just acting silly there. You couldn't even know what they are without reading them, you only assume they have something to do with superstition... And I also am willing to bet my soul that you do have superstitions. Without a doubt. You might not recognize them, but you have them. Every one does. In fact even refusing to open a fortune cookie is a superstitious act in and of itself. |

Isn't it more of a denial of superstition? I wouldn't refuse to open those cookies but I certainly wouldn't believe the bullshit that is written. |

Whenever i'm with friends at a Chinese restaurant and we get those, it always ends up being that you'll say your fortune, then one of my buddies will add 'In bed' at the end of it, sometimes its pretty funny. |

After UP mentioned it can be funny to add"In Bed"to the end of fortunes, I started adding it to fortunes that people here were mentioning. I.E:Your lack of pants disturbs me IN BED.
