Well, it's my son's birthday comming up and I managed to get a second hand XBox360 core at an affordable price from a team mate at work, so considering it was in excellent condition and only a few months old I decided to take the plunge!
So, now the child is happily playing away, and I'm patiently waiting my turn
He's been bugging me for a while now, and considering we don't have any device capable of playing anything with decent graphics (his PC only has a fx5200!), as well as budget only allowing PC upgrades end of this year, I decided its time I got involved in the console world. It's something I've wanted to try, but always turned it down, cause I have more use for a PC.
Anyway, I need a test bed for future Runestorm projects, when certain game engines decide to get a move on (and it looks like things will work out to our benefit)
I must say it is very nice, but I will easily match it's capabilites when I upgrade PC's end of this year, but then again that's not the point of a console!
I have decided I like it, and it has it's place....but my PC is still king (even though it belongs in the dark ages)
So for now I will enjoy some decent graphics....if I can get a chance on it that is.....
