This here's just a little thread for people who've done (or witnessed) something so unbelievably awesome (and just plain unbelievable) that they have to tell the whole world about it. I'll start off with quite a few.

Impossible Headshot:

This one was a while ago, me and my bro were playing BW in a Bloodgulch remake and we had the build gun available (little tool thingy that makes wooden boards, sheets, posts, etc.). We were just messing around and building stuff for a while, leaving the battle field littered with odd constructs and such.

Eventually I decided I wanted to kill something so, I was shooting at a wall my bro constructed to hide behind. I took a blind shot at the wall with te .50 cal sniper rifle in an attempt to destroy the wall. Instead the shot went clean through and took off his head. It was the most beautiful thing I never seen. :p

Impossible Grenade Kill:

I was playing a bot match of BW in BlackHawk, and was pretty much just using only the pineapples. I heard a rail gun shot nearby, so I pulled the pin. After a quick scan, I saw no enemies, so I threw the grenade up into the air high above the buildings, where it exploded in a location that couldn't possibly have made a kill.

A second or two after the explosion, Gorge was killed by me. I have yet to find out how he could've possibly died from that. :P

Laying in Ambush...?:

This one was in Halo 2 with 16 people in Turf, team Slayer, 4 teams of 4, random start weapons.

I was given a sword on this spawn, and I was ready to do some killing.

I turned the corner and at that middle part where there's some crates and stuff, I saw the green team, looking like they were laying in ambush. I ended up killing them all and managed to survive the encounter, only after the third kill was I noticed. :P

From the other room all I heard were 4 angry gamers yelling Xavious at the top of their lungs. :p

Daring Leap

Pulling Off a Stupid Mistake and Making it Look Intentional :P

Me and my bro were playing Halo 2 Co-op, we were in the Arbiter levels, where you get the gold banshess to cross that chasm.

My bro mentioned something about the plasma cannon still being available in this game for the banshess, so out of curiosity I pressed what I though was the right button.

Somehow, I hit the X button and jumped out of the banshee. Somehow, out of pure luck, I managed to fall right beside an enemy banshee and hit X at the right time, killing him, getting me a new ride, looking kickass, and saving my ass in the process. :P

After I managed to do that, I looked up at my brothers screen only to find that he made the same mistake as me, only he didn't save himself. :p

Medic From Hell!

I was at a LAN party with 16 people, playing Battlefield 1942. We were at Ohmaha beach, my team was on the Axis side (Germany FTW!). I was playing as medic (like usual) and we were more than likely in lesser numbers than the Allies (kept getting the wins even when we were outnumbered 8) ).

I came to the conclusion that a medic is pretty useless in the bunkers in that level, so I went down to the beach. I managed to live about half an hour on one life, killing a good deal of the enemies with my SMG, until I ran out of ammo halfway through, I then just switched to the knife. :p

Well anyways, I was alive, as a medic, for half an hour on one life. And I was kicking ass. With a knife.

Eventually the Allies found out about their vehicles... then I didn't do so hot, died eventually... :(

But, I did a hell of a job as a moral boost to the team and we still won the game. :D

One of Those Incredibly Unrealistic Victories that Always Seem to Happen in Movies

Again another BF 1942 game, same conditions, only different map. It was a desert one that had large airfields for each team, really big map. dunno name.

Anyways, we were kinda losing the match for the most part, then we got down to about 45 tickets while the enemy had 100+.

Some how, we managed to bring them down to 50ish, and we were left at 20. We beat them down further, so they had 20, we had I think 4.

We fought hard and strong. In the end we lost one more ticket, and that was by me at the absolute very end. It was an incredible battle. Something that simply had to be seen in order to believe.

Thats all I got for now. Any others?

Headshot Revolver
I was playing with only the D49, and for about 5 minutes, the only think I ever hit was an enemy's head, never missing a single time. That kept going until I met my death by a BX5 mine.

Not too hard to replicate, but always a delight to pull off. 8)

That right there is pretty impressive. :P

By all means, if you have screenshots to show off of your daring stunts and godlike skills (I still think its just pure luck :P ), then do so. Might be pretty awesome to see. 8)

Just a few corrections there, Xav. !mistrust First off, I had just respawned, as had 2 others, and secondly, we noticed you after the first death, but we couldn't get a bead on you.

I have a few tales of my own.

Halo2 Mayhem
Xavious here seems to be magnetically attracted to my plasma grenades. At the Halo2 party above, we played 16 way rockets in warlock, and I just threw a random plasma grenade in the air, and somehow I stuck Xav. Also, at our house when we were playing burial grounds 2 on 1 with my dad and bro on one side, I threw a plasma grenade where I knew it wouldn't hit anyone, but Xav jumped just as it was passing by and stuck to his leg. :p
Later that match, I was standing on the bridge aiming a rocket at my dad's feet and I was suddenly flailing around in the air! !dodge Xav had somehow managed to sword lock from under the bridge and got me. :((

I Caught that grenade deliberately. I done so in an attempt to keep dad from dying in a horrible explosion. I said this already. !mistrust

Why would someone jump straight into the path of a flying, glowing blue grenade in a map like that? It was deliberate.

The grenade of death

this one was classic, i was in DM-Nao and i had a NRP37, so here comes Abyss and she had one Hp left, so I threw my grenade at her, she drops but her teammate, Vanity, comes running over in My direction, so i pulled out my M806, but i had forgotten about my grenade, so when Vanity comes running over Abyss's body, well the results were messy. She was blown from the waist down, and here i am Laughing my ass off.

I don't know if these fit...

I was making a video of Oblivion and UT2k4 clips with Bleed It Out from Linkin Park. So I was filming me using the railgun scope to shoot down some guys. Out of nowhere a bot came out of the flames, and when I moved my scope to aim at her, I tracked her perfectly in mid air and got a Headshot when the bot was still moving pretty fast.

In Battlefield 2, I survived 3 or 4 artillery barrages in a row, defending the base until a tank rolled over me. And I jumped completely over a speeding buggy :P.

HeadHunter

On JB- Crusher 3, I was armed with a M290, and i was up against three guys, Abbadon, Domina, and Mr crow!! (LOL) so i started head toward the switch, then mr. crow came along, jumped on his head, blew up his head, then for some odd reason, i jumped toward Domina, blew up her head, then shotjumped toward Abbadon, you get the idea.

This one's not really impossible... it's just plain silly.

Sniping for Idiots

Counterstrike (forgot what version... maybe 6.0), CS-Assault, it got down to just me and one other Terrorist, and we were looking for each other like crazy. I decided to just sit on a rooftop, arm myself with an AW Magnum, and wait until the unsuspecting guy pops his head up. A few seconds later, he does, but he's DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH me, so I try to line up my sights and move to the edge of the roof...

"Whoops~!!!"

Somehow, my character just slipped and fell of the rooftop, directly behind the guy. Fortunately for me, the guy thought I was still up there, so he was looking up when I was just crouching beside him.

Out comes my knife... and the rest, as they say, is history.

Leap Of Redemption
I was playing on the VCTF Heedsteem server.
I was playing on a futuristic-urban map,forgot the name,Think it was Art of Shinobi or something like that....,I was on red team and defending the base.Well I spotted a blue team member heading into the base through a hallway on a motorcycle,so I followed in after him shooting my pistol,he jumped off in the middle of the hallway and we had a quick gunfight.He started to run toward the flag,but I had just ran out of ammo.I had 10 health,0 armor left and was panicing!So I jumped on the hog,charged at full speed,and hit him mid air just as he jumped off the platform with the flag.He instantly died and I jumped off and returned the flag! How ironic........

Jumping Headshots!

I was playing CounterStrike Source, it was on Dust2, I was on the terrorist side, and i was going down the mid, as i did i jumped out from behind cover with my trusty Desert Eagle in hand, and at the height of the jump i prim fired and got an awesome headshot of some CT guy rushing me. It was amazing.


I don't hax, you just suck

Again this happened in CSS, this time on Office, and i was again Terrorist and on the side long hallway, i had the machinegun, a grenade, 2 flash grenades and my Desert Eagle. So at first I'm just waiting for the initial CT rush, but it didn't come (or it was just real slow to start), so with my machinegun I turn the corner and there are 5 CT's all starring right at me (first thought that came to my mind "Oh Shit!"), so i let loose with a hail of Machinegun fire, managing to headshot two of the guys then i retreated back to around the corner. Next I threw a grenade, bouncing it off the other corner wall, it doesn't kill, but it weakens them. Next I go around the corner again, with the DE, and headshoted a guy in the back of the head, as he falls his teammates are all looking at him as he falls, (quite funny), i then take 3 shots from my DE to a guys chest, killing him. Then i retreated, then threw a flash grenade, blinding the guys, i rush back with the machinegun and take out 3 more guys (2 new guys rushed in to help but died anyways). Then with all those dead at my feet i loose my concentration for a moment and then a CT knifes me from behind. So as i waiting for a new round, all those CT's i killed kept yelling "Haxor" "noob" "BAN HIM!". Well i don't hax and the spectating Admin saw i wasn't so nothing happened, everyone else on my team said nj (nice job), then a new round started.


Headshot from hell?

I have no clue how his happened, but my terrorist guy was hiding outside on a Office_Expanded, so he's below a window so from inside you only see his head, so some lucky ass throws a grenade (from inside), it misses all my teammates, lands right in from of my face, so now theres only breakable glass between my face and that grenade, and then it blows up and BLAMO, Headshot! I look at the part where it shows what killed you, mine shows the guys name A grenade and a headshot then my name. So i was headshotted by a grenade.

Saved by the sniper

I was on DM-DC-beach, and was armed with a R78A1, and was sniping people when i saw a G5 rocket in my face, so I flew over the railing then i shot blankly into nowhere, but i got a Headshot, and it was the same guy who shot the rocket, then I landed on Aurora's head, and went kersplat

I was on Ctf-CBP1-ferris and was armed with the railgun, i was defending the flag and here comes four guys, so i leaped down and they had miniguns, so i hid, then i popped out, shot at the guys, then i got a Mega kill with four headshots.

Here's something not really that awesome, but just goes to show how stupid some players can be (if they lack teamwork).

Riding a Helicopter for Dummies

Battlefield 1942 (w/ Desert Combat mod)... EVERYBODY, and I mean EVERYBODY, just doesn't know how to ride an Attack Chopper... They plunge into the ocean, hit buildings, get shot by AA missiles... etc. etc...

Except me and my friend. I was the pilot and he was the gunner. Together, we just mow down wave after wave of enemy assault. I strafe down and my friend unleashes a barrage of rockets into a group of tanks... you guys should have seen the explosions... pure poetry...

The only stupid thing we did was (intentionally) crash our chopper into a building full of AA Missile-wielding players, and we didn't eject ourselves... we were like "BANZAI~!!!" "PLACE YOUR BETS NOW~!!!" and then, "BOOM~!"

Fun times...

Part of me

During my time on BR-freefall. i was taking the enemy front and was gonna throw a grenade, but I got shot in the head then right below me was Shinryuu, which the grenade landed on his head, then went Boom. The impossible part was, he was on godlike.

I got one.

Dying after winning : CS-Assault
Me and my friend were CT, and we killed all Counter Terrorists except 1. (Bot match) The bot was hiding in the Office where the hostages are, I had a flashbang grenade but my friend rushed in. He and the terrorist fired many rounds against each other.
Finally, my friend survived with 1 health left, I didn't saw that and I threw the flashbang nade at him after we won. XD He dead and we won ^^

Yeah... pretty much a martyr's death, given the fact that our Chopper was already pretty beat up (we've held on to that bugger since the beginning of the round/game).

We just decided to let it spin out of control... well, okay... I did control it a bit (since I let it crash into a building full of enemies).

It really boosted our stats, that little run we did.

Battlefield 2 Sniper's Spree

On Surge (my favorite Special Forces Map) I was defending the rocket pad when some Spestnaz came over with a tank and rolled flat my Rebel teammates. As they were capturing the base, I climbed up the ladder to the very top of the rocket pad, and sat there breathing heavily with a SVD Sniper in my hand. There were about 10 Spetsnaz right there, 2 snipers, and the rest of them were anti-tanks, medics, and assaults. Maybe even one engineer. I zoomed in on one of them, who was watching for a ground assault or something. I popped a round or two into his neck, and he tumbled limply onto the ground.

One of the snipers noticed his fallen teammate, and looked around wildly. He had a way better sniper rifle than me, and I feared that he would spot me way up there. I fired into his leg, and he sprinted behind a crate and hid behind it. That does absolutely nothing because I am on higher ground :P. I fired 3 more rounds while he was running frantically around, and the other sniper looked around. He ran up the stairs to the crates and looked around. I just fired one into his head and he fell on top of the other sniper.

I reloaded, and zoomed in again. Everyone still didn't know where I was, and the 3 I killed respawned again. I took the soldiers out until I was low on ammo, in which I decided to turn around and take out the guys on the other side. After pegging bullets into a few soldiers' heads, I advanced to Private First Class. I only had 5 rounds left, so I called for backup. Soon a bunch of my teammates slaughtered the Spetsnaz guarding the Rocket Pad, and I ziplined safely down. I think that spree helped us win the match :P. And it got me a better sniper rifle :P.

Beating a Hunter into Submission... With Your Fist.

This isn't completely amazing and probably not hard to do, but it certainly shouldn't work. :p

Me and my bro were playing halo 2 co-op, in the first level you play on earth. In the first area that you have to defend against waves of Covenents.

We were slaughtering the Covenents without much trouble, me using a Plasma pistol for its fast melee attacks, and my bro with probably a battle rifle. Everything was going fine, and then the Hunters came. I stood beside the doorway waiting to take one out (with melee of course ;) ) and my bro was doing something else, dunno what. Well anyways, I asmacked the hunter in the back a couple times with my fist, and nothing happened. Did it a few more times and the hunter turned towards me. I was thinking Crap. All I had was a plasma pistol n hand with limited ammo and an SMG that would probably take too much time to switch to.

I hit him and noticed he reeled back from the hit. I was thinking "Cool! I'm gonna kill me a hunter with my fist!"

Well, I kept beating on it for a good couple of minutes and noticed it wasn't dying, but it wasn't able to attack me oddly enough. I moved myself around it and started beating back into a corner. Eventually I beat it into a tiny little opening for I think a doorway and held it there for a bit. I must've paused too much on one of the melee attacks, because it then slammed me backwards with it's shield.

Fortunately my bro was able to take down the other hunter while I kept this one occupied so he turned to the hunter that I backed into a corner. He killed it, and I came out alive after beating on a hunter with my fist.

That might not be too hard to do, dunno, since thats my first encounter ever with a hunter in Halo 2, but it sure as hell was pretty cool. :D

I got one, a long time ago me and X were playing halo 1 at bloodgulch and i had him down to half of his life, he was hiding behind one of the pilars at red base and i was at blue standing ontop of a pillar with the snipers rifle. He was waiting for a health pack to spawn next to him, when it did he made a run for it and i shot him in the head, it doesnt sound awesome but the way his body landed was priceless, it looked as if his corpse was reaching for the medkit.

Then in fear an enemy was standing ontop of a propane tank i shot the tank and it sen him up into the cieling but his head clipped and it got stuck so his corpse was hanging from the cieling
