I've been behind the new games of today and news and all about new games.
When UT3 comes out, 2007 November, I get a new PC. A wicked PC with one of the newest graphic cards and such and I hope it can run alot of games smooth with good graphics.

But, so far there aren't many next-gen games I really want to buy. What are games I should consider buying?

So far I got: UT3, Assasins Creed, Spore, GoW... and that was it abit. So, what games are really worth buying?

Anyway, I strongly recommend Bioshock, it'll be out in the later half of August.
And by the way Carsomyr, I found and bought Deus Ex on eBay and received my copy yesterday. And I'll say this; the game is a fekking masterpiece. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't tried it.

There will be no demo for Bioshock, it was announced officially. And it'll be available sometime in the later half of August as far as I know.

And it will require one hell of a computer.

Some games I would recommend:
Battlefield 2 Deluxe or Collector's thing (with all booster packs and expansion)

TESIV: Oblivion (Along with Knights of The Nine and Shivering Isles, and maybe a few mods from TESSOURCE and Planet Elder Scrolls)

That's all I can think of right now. Newest graphic card? I ENVY YOU! If you get Oblivion, show me how awesome those screenies look like on my screens thread.

Battlefield 2 is a horrible game. Nothing is fun after ou get spawned camped by APC for a whole match and you cant do anything, same with acidental teammate kills, the game was so bad with it, your pretty much guaranteed getting fragged by a teammate or fragging someone on your team due to the stupidity of the players (they don't bother to look where yu are shooting) and will always run into your bullets, then you loose points.

Another thing, the weapons feel like plastic toys, a water gun is more powerful than anything they have in BF2.

Though however, i highly suggest getting BF2142 instead of BF2, its much for balanced, much less spawn camping, gametypes are funner, and lasty, it has MECHS!

I dislike the battlefield series... I die too much in that game lol.

I already have Oblivion and im playing a lvl 22+ sneaking Khajiit. My main attributes are agility and speed, so I can hack hack hack, run back, enemy attacks(misses bigtime), I run at him, hack hack hack, enz.

Sometimes I use invisibilty so he thinks im gone and then I do sneak attack ^^ but thats kinda lame sometimes :P only with stronger enemies its cool, weaker ones is just a waste of time to sneak on.

The battlefield series is fun when the people your playing with aren't total asses and spawn camp the whole game but thats the case with 3/4 of all online FPS games.

not UT2004 ^^

But with HALO it is that way... I played the multiplayer demo, and I ended up in some servers spawning and getting shot all the way, sum ass with a Banshee and a sniper camped the base, there was also a rocket warthog next to the base. That just sux.

anyways, RTS' are mostly all the same, except for the units, buildings and graphics.
I'm not interrested in the regular RTS, cuz when you got 1 you got them all. I want a unique RTS, something never seen before... perhaps even a combo of RTS and FPS would be cool.

and so far I see these games as 'I wanna have':
UT3, Spore, Bioshock, Assasins Creed, HALO 3, HL2 Episode2 + Portal, Crysis, any more? :D

I think BF2 is good or bad depending on how you play it. If you're one of those common FPS dudes who takes a shotgun and goes on a rampage BF2 is not for you. I've eliminated quite a bit of spawn-camping APC. To do that, remember the magic word: TEAMWORK.

It's simple actually, all you need is to get your buddies to distract the APC, you get on a TOW or use the SRAW, Eryx, or RPG-7 (If you are using the anti-tank kit), and pull off as many shots until he notices or kills you. I usually can destroy an APC alone, or at least weaken it severely.

Just use controlled bursts, so it is less likely the teammate wouldn't get hit, and aiming doesn't hurt :P. If you can't stand teammates accidentally shooting you in the face, just look for different servers. TomClancyServers for the Expansion really is the best of the best, in my opinion.

And if you still think BF2 is cheap, you should try sprinting across a sidewalk in the game. I guarantee that 75% of the time that you will get blown up by a Claymore. That's worse than APC or even the AAs.

Sorry if I was flaming a bit, that statement just made me feel like arguing :D.

Yea BioShock looks great from the previews I really think there achieving the whole "The city's falling apart" effect.
