Post subject:	What do you guys do?
I'm just curious what kinds of things everyone here likes to do. Hobbies, sports, games, academic interests, anything that isn't computer related, and as much detail as you feel like giving. We're ALL PC gamers or we wouldn't be here, so save those for another thread. As for me, I don't do much in the way of team sports. The one I really get into is fencing, and I've been competing on a national level for about six years. Fun stuff. I also do horseback riding, hiking / backpacking, mountain biking and dirt biking. I play D&D 3.5, my little bro's a decent DM and we have weekly / bi-weekly sessions with friends. Right now I'm running a level 5 ninja (underpowered, but fun class) who I'm working towards being a crossbow sniper. I'm a huge Sci-Fi nerd. Mostly Star Trek as far as TV goes, but the best TV series I've ever seen is Joss Whedon's Firefly. Awesome series that got killed after 14 episodes were produced. Worst tragedy of the last century. I'm an enormous fan of all Robert Heinlein's books and his viewpoint on life. As for academic stuff, I'm really starting to like Anthropology. Had a really fun professor this last semester - big gamer and all-round nerd, got me really hooked on the subject. Used to study politics a lot, but it's mostly just turned me into a die-hard libertarian. Now I'm mostly just sick of national/world politics in general. Oh, and I also do ballroom dancing. Swing is a personal favorite. No poking fun or I'll frag your face off. So how about the rest of you guys?

Nothing about gaming........nothing about gaming...........nothing about gaming.......hmmmmmmm....okay all joking aside..... I don't really play sports, but I work out regularly, swim in my pool, and run on my treadmill sometimes. I watch T.V a lot , and have watched pretty much every comedy sitcom. I'm probably forgetting something.....nvm I like playing games with my dad like card games, chess, checkers, Monopoly, Yahtzee ,ect. I've been doing home school for about 2 and a half years now. I like reading about history. I know a ridiculous amount of random knowledge thanks to Wikipedia I've been using computers and playing video games since I was about four I live in the Mojave Desert.

Hmm... wow... I really have done nothing other than mess around on my computer, though most of that time is spent on RuneStorm or just messing around and tweaking UT04. I don't even watch TV, and consoles rarely get my attention. I do listen to music quite a bit though, with a good portion of it being from EnteR, Wup, SB and DC. The rest of the music is pretty much just classic rock. Guess that pretty much changed though, since I got my bike. Now I ride my bike for 6+ hours of the day instead of playing on my computer during that time.

Oh yeah, forgot about that! I enjoy pretty much all good music ,but my favorite bands are Led Zepplin, Mettalica, And the Beatles. Theres also a bunch of songs that I like,but are made by bands I don't like as much.

So I play games.... alot. I like all video game platforms, PC, PS2, XBOX360, it just depends whether or not there's an awesome game for that platfrom. For some reason I am obsessed with the violence blood and gore in games, so I don't care if I'm too young to play M games, they're fun. During the school year I try to squeeze in at least an hour of free time on weekdays. For TV I watch G4, Comedy Central, History Channel, NGEO and Discovery. For my TV service G4, NGEO, History, and Discovery are all next to each other. Right now I love baseball more than anything. Football coming in second and basketball third. Or maybe tennis. Maybe even CHEESE! Um... nevermind. For Academics I'm really into history and science. I wanna be a Computer Animator someday... Maybe that's just too impossible for me... I live around the LA area. I don't really feel comfortable about disclosing my address or town because i don't know if there's a predator looking at this post right now... As for music, I am currently into Metal. My favorites are Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, System of A Down, A7X, Papa Roach, and Adema (when Mark Chavez was still there). For rock I like Unwritten Law, Good Charlotte, Hoobastank, and um... Linkin Park, if they're considered rock right now.

I LOVE to play Guitar Hero 2/Encore. I like listening to music. I write fanfiction (my current one is to chapter 4, chapter 3 still needs edits, and none thrown online just yet majorly). My first FPS... the classic: Goldeneye I'm a racer at heart. I just sit around all day doing stuff on computer or stand around playing GH. I keep having the same dream of being in the SatAm series of Sonic... gah! Why can't it be real!? I watch bunches of shows. Bunches. I watch Homestar Runner cartoons. I like webcomics. I have over a gigabyte of artwork and stuff that isn't mine, but is all free. Mostly. I got a few hundred megs of not so cheap stuff. I tend to spend my money on games now that I don't have a car. I love consoles, and consoles are great for me, since I don't go for shooters on consoles much. RACING!!! I got a steering wheel for my PS2. NASCAR sucks, F1 rules.

work 45hrs a week (System Engineer)! Between work, driving child around for all his activities and studyin, not much time for anything else, but I do enjoy relaxing under the african sky with friends around a braai (read barbaque for you Americans) drinking lots of yummy things... I like to fly model helicopters for a hoby (still learning!!)

Well I spend my time playing Garrys mod 10, awesome mod called Zombie Survival that takes up most of my time. When im not on the PC im playing Dead Or Alive 2 Ultimate on the Xbox and Gta San Andreas also on the good old box. Ill map eventually but get ADD lots and just abandon the maps. Music, drawing, dodge ball and lifting weights take up what little time I have in the end.

hmmm.. well, besides developing mods since i was 12.. designed many games actually, but only really got to making 2 love making music on the PC, mainly electronic/ sometimes industrial sorta stuff.. also do hiking and stuff when i get a chance.. very occasionally do some bicycling on mountain bike.. of course, only recently got into listening to music serious.. maily Rock/Pop and Dance Electronic stuff.. Dig: Green Day, Linkin Park, and others like, Avril Lavigne, Rasmus, Offspring, Nine Inch Nails, and various others.. i'm pretty easy when it comes to music.. i know lots about mythology, and in general, try to learn as much misc stuff as i can... been involved lossely in other projects with DC, like making trebuchet, hard labour, etc.. DC does all the interesting stuff

Hmmm, what do I do? Well obviously, I am involved in the playing of games, but a long time ago I decided I was going to be a developer. Doom got me started back in 96... I'll start with the major things... I do UScript, models, art, and everything well proven in BW... I have been practicing alot with C++ recently, its tough, but I can make some pretty mean apps now... Obviouisly I am fully capable of dealing with the hardware part of the PC... I have always been obsesed with electricity, been shocked many times I was shocking myself on the 220v mains before I learned to write. Started learning electronics a few years ago, so I do that too. I do quite a bit of regular weight lifting and all that... I've been doing quite a bit of horse riding and horse related stuff... I seem to be pretty good at that. Have a talent for not falling... I also like hiking and camping and basically just hanging in the wilderness... Some dabling in basket ball and we like the american football! I've always been obsessed with DIY, so I have experience with metal-work, carpentry, plumbing, mechanics, and all general fixing or dealing with machines and stuff... Best to keep me away from the hardware store and tools if you in a hurry... I did alittle blade smithing, made a sword, axe, some knives. I can do leather work and have done tailoring when needed. Very interestind in anything connected to physics and science... I like learning anything that is not boring... We are the products of unusual home schooling. Frowned upon by many, offensive by our mere difference from the drones... I can cook... So can SB... Well practiced in many forms of manual labour... I wrote a book... As can be seen, I have an obsession with gathering all kinds of knowledge and skills... Obviously I like music and have made some too... There's probably more, but I can't think of it now...

very simple for me... I sleep. I eat. I watch TV on our flatscreen (Discovery & MTV mostly) I jump on our trampoline I swim in our swimming pool I make models of spaceships with Lego (This ain't childisch, it's fun to make 3D spaceships) I draw science fiction art. (With a story behind it) I play games on my old Xbox on the big flatscreen TV. Then most of all... the computer: I play games such as, UT2004, EVEonline, Freelancer, Medieval Total War 2, Age Of Empires 3 WarChiefs, StarTopia, Total Annhilation, Homeworld2, X3 Reunion, Half Life series, Counter Strike... and somewhat more. I make maps and mods for: UT2004, StarTopia, X3 Reunion(trying). I make games with: GameMaker Registered. I work on my own universe, (47 page long documentry atm) I improve my drawed art with photoshop. I also got a sauna but I never use that. I can also visit my uncle and make stuff explode (he is scientist). So... thats what I do. Ah crap. Forgot school! XD Well, further then above, I have school... In the Netherlands school system is different then over at Amerika or other countries. So I just say I'm 15 years old, never skipped a year, or re-do a year.

Yes, we have unintendedly done a lot of things... Not much time for TV and thank god cos the stuff we got on TV here is a joke! For Doom, we tinkered with maps, and changing the appearance ofthe monsters and using old Dehacked, messed with all the actors and stuff... My first serious coding mods were for Q2 and that was in C... before that I started with GW basic and did a bit of C...

I am currently attending Grand Valley State University for computer engineering. This winter, I'll be going back to Whitehall, MI, to intern at Hilite for my second of 3 semesters of co-op. I used to do a lot of hiking and camping, but that was when I was in the Boy Scouts. I hit Eagle shortly before I turned 18, went to college, and hardly get out anymore. Curse BW for being so addicting! (-:

Whoa! You're at Grand Valley? Thats really not very far from me! You ever heard of Ludington? Its on the coast, relatively small, touristy town. I live about half an hour from there, not too sure off the top of my head how far I am from White Hall, but its within a couple hours' drive from here.

I spend a lot of my free time playing or modifying video games. I've been heavily working on Deus Ex for a number of years. It uses a very friendly engine. Right now I'm working on cloaked MJ12 Troopers and creating icons for new guns. I've been playing on Kaboodle's BW server lately, where the users like to accuse me of aimhacking.

I now like to play on Kab's server, where I get considered to be easy pickings, until we get on BE-DeadlyShores2, where I'll suddenly never die (but I'll never win since I only get 11 kills). BTW, I snuck up on Kab underwater and owned him with a silenced XK2. Oh, and I like to play around with my variant of BW v2.1 PLAY IT NOW! DOWNLOAD MY BETAS AND KICK SOME ASS!
