Xfire is good for getting into servers from outside of the game and for in game personal communication. MSN is like xfire minus having any affiliation with games and is owned by MS. |

MSN has been 100% stable the entire year I've used it. |

I've never USED any of them, but XFire sounds cooler, and is for games. If MSN has nothing to do with games, what's the point of comparing them? It's like saying Pepsi VS Cheeto's |

Yeah, but you can't chat with friends who are ingame with MSN, but you can with Xfire. |

yes and MSN is stuffed full with links to commercial crap. If you're sleepy and not really paying attention which button you click on, you end up on a marketing site of Jamba or something. Xfire has no links, everything is nicely put together and you wont have to seek for a button to reset something you accidently click on for 20 minutes. + you can talk ingame. + instant voicechat, not first pressing 50+ buttons before it works such as like MSN |

That one sentence is a desperate attempt to badmouth msn, if you need more material then I suggest you use your imagination. And you guys are throwing poop at msn for something it was never trying to be in the first place. It was meant to be a Windows instant messenger, not a chat program for use within games. And the job it is aiming at doing, it does it very well. |

right... but in my sight, Xfire is alot more usefull then MSN, as it can be used just like msn around windows + in games. anyways, can we delete this topic?

You know, as I've never used XFire, and I've only used MSN, AIM, and Trillian (which I use to go for both MSN and AIM anways), I can't say much about XFire. But... what's the point of sending someone IMs when you are playing a game? Wouldn't you.... wanna CONCENTRATE on the game? Of course, I'm the one who likes to only play offline. Online usually is just laggy, unless you're on an RPG server, like the Druids ones. |

The people who like Xfire while playing games, are the same ones who watch TV while driving a car. Things get ugly that way. |

Things get ugly that way. Or how about texting with a phone and driving? >_> Total moron alert! Worst i saw was just like on that Allstate commercial, someone changing clothes while driving at 55MPH on a road in a neighborhood. To me, there's no point to XFire, along with phone texting. I mean... it's a phone, you CALL the damned person! Texting should be primarily used for computer, not phone! people have it backwards these days... |

I like Xfire because you can keep track of your buddies and your favorite servers outside of the game. That's about the only reason I use it. It's much easier to check on a server on Xfire than having to launch the game. Especially useful to see what games your friends are currently playing and what servers they're on, if applicable. I don't give two shits about in-game chat anyway, though I agree it can get very distracting, especially when you have the message sound pop up (which I always disable anyway). |

A&W Root Beer is best. And for that matter, Cheetos beat all in chips, unless you got Nacho Chips with salsa!!! And I got a huge bag of those and a big bottle of salsa! |

Thats really not something one could easily answer there, trunkmonkey.
The thing is, your processor probably is on its last legs, but, well, there is no way of knowing accurately when your processor is gonna die. What I recommend doing is subtly sabotaging your computer by disconnecting a plug or something, and then tell your parents it died.
With any luck your scheme would work as planned and you'll have yourself a better processor.
If it doesn't work, quietly reconnect the wire and say you got it working again but you don't know if you can do it again.

All prepackaged junk food is terrible. Yogurt and delicious fruit are the superior snack food, although baked goods like cookies are indeed delicious. |

Don't forget that junk food has a much higher shelf life than fruits. A balance between Fruit Roll-Ups and Strawberries is the way to go.

By prosesor I assume you mean processor. The answer to your question: Only time will tell. |
