Hi All,

We are expecting to change the site over on either Sunday morning or Monday morning! Sorry I can't be exact, but it depends on other factors :)

It is looking quite nice, even if I say so myself, and there are a couple of nice features that will be implemented, including a "bug tracker" section where you will get to submit bugs you find, so they can be properly "looked after" and everyone knows what's going on with the mod.

The forums will undergo a major facelift, and I'm sure you will find the new forums much more pleasant to use.

We also have a few other suprizes up our sleeve for the next few weeks, so stay tuned :)

If you have any suggestions for the site, then this is the place and time to voice them.

oh yes, if you are hosting any servers on the internet and using BW on them, please make sure they are listed/updated in the "online servers" forum, with details (mods/mutators, ports etc.).

Thanks.

Cool! I'll look forward to see what goodies are going to be added/improved. :)

I have two minor requests by the way.
1) Could you guys keep this color theme? Because in bright colors I become basicly blind. :S

2) I'm used to 40 or 50 posts per page on other forums, so if you could have that as an option it would be great. :)

Wow, that sucks! How does it affect gameplay? :S

It only affects reading, very bright background makes it hard for me to read text, unless it is big and black colored.

There are more things like night blindness and awful peripheral vision that makes gaming hard.

I know, but it's not like he has a separate set of gaming eyes! Bad vision is bad vision.

Redshift is correct, I don't put new eyes into the eyesockets when I want to play a game.
As a side note it would be pretty cool. :P

Unless you tore out all the nerves, that sounds like it'd be quite painful. Unless you have a pain "thing" (everyone has a pain level or something, average being 4 or something like that) that's like 50.

Pain is a minor concern if I get 20/20 vision in return. ;)

yeah! Pain is the best when your rewarded with better vision or better teeth!:woohoo:

Nice work on the new site RS, it really looks good!

I posted after seeing your post SB but since you posted t 11 AM and i'm at 8 AM right now mine goes above I think that system needs to be fixed cause everyone is from everywhere cause now they'll be alot a double even triple posts in threads.

Also their should be a PM button underneath everyones name so we can PM people!

Yes, there is a problemo with the timezone stuff...but I think it's fixed now...

I'll investigate if I can do that...I might have to alter the forums stuff, so if I have to do that it's gonna take a week or 2 ....

Private messages will be nice, although many of us won't need them until the community gets bigger.
:P

By the way, are posts per page going to be raised Cyberax?

Well lets hope they are, or just make it 'optional' for everyone so some people (56k guys) can have fast loading pages!

edit: I hope you guys bring back the Shots of the Moment gallery!

PM's are working :)

the posts are set to 35 per page :) 15 before it gets marked as "popular"

The site should be a quite a bit faster (it is for me). I'm using a LOT less pics in it, and the CMS is a lot faster. It will get even better when I turn on the caching server side, but I'm not doing that until I've finished a few things on the design (like the top right empty box next to the logo).

Yes, most of the pages are comming back, just improved and tidied up. I am looking at a proper gallery, so you guys can upload pics to it as well, but that shot of the moment will remain for the developers to give you a "sneak" preview of what they're working on.

Anyone like the Server list ?? I know there's not many on there, but I'm only adding BW servers 8)

Is everyone's time showing up correct when they post? It should be, and it should show it to you in your time (provided you have set your timezone in your profile settings).

The Weapons Talk Fourm won't load! It says

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/runestor/public_html/handlers/bbcode_handler.php on line 117

I think it was replaced by rank system, I have 10 stars but had 13 karma. Maybe 10 stars is the max?

There is a rank system, which will become more evident when we finish the pics for the ranks. The stars with the ranks, and work on the number of posts. Currently 10 is the most, but I will be changing the ranking levels soon :D

PLEASE NOTE:: I have taken the "Weapons Talk" forum off-line until I can figure out what's wrong with it!!
