I've gotten that before, and it probably happened from a UT2k4 crash or something and the ini data got corrupted. Uninstall UT2k4 (or just delete it if the uninstall exe doesn't work) then install it. Also, it could be because you have the newest patch on UT2k4 and your installing the Bonus Pack (which if i'm right gives you the new vehicles and a older patch) over a new one so it could just be stupid patch problems... I have a feeling that the bonus pack being talked about is not the one i'm thinking of. |

The bonus pack requires the bonus pack to be installed before it will install? That is fecking hilarious! |

Yep, reminds me when i had to install the ECE pack the first time, the game said it couldn't install it cause UT2k4 didn't exist but it was happy to place it in the UT2k4 folder. |

yes, it is C:\UT2004 and this error almost killed me, i just couldn’t stop laughing. somebody else got some funny errors? |

I was talking to UP, but I guess my theory applies to you as well. Did the bonus pack refuse to install or did it end up in the default folder? |

Yeah, but what would that have to do with it. Even then, it happened like a year and a half ago, so it doesn't really matter now. But i agree with your post MMM about this error being funny.

If an installer doesn't recognize the game being installed, it will extract the files to the default path automatically, afaik. And you forgot a question-mark there, by the way. |
