I can't even get through assault ladder(finished the others). There is a way you can change the .ini to have the special characters appear, but that would be cheating

Is it just me, or do I really suck? Well, I know I don't suck...used to be #10 on invasion score list. Lost my skill since then. Anyhow, I've never completed single player, even in all the almost 2 years I've had UT2k4. Before I got my video card upgraded, I couldn't get by the mothership assault. It would slow down way too bad. Now though, when I reinstalled UT2k4, I started a new single player file, but on novice, because I knew I had lost 99% of my skill in UT2k4. Today, I got to fighting Malcolm in the Championship DM at Hyperspace. And don't laugh at me, but I keep getting my ass kicked. Best thing that's worked is spamming the bio rifle charge up fire on him, like I did to Xan in UT99. But something's weird. I think he's powered up or something...I hit him with 3 rockets, and that didn't even take out all his shielding. On average, he does 16 damage to me with the minigun, which appears to be his fav. 16 DAMAGE WITH A MINIGUN BULLET! Okay, now to get the 2 step posts...in this order: 1. "AHAHAH YOU SUCK" 2. "Okay, just kidding, here's what you do." |

u never beat Malcom either?? we didnt.. what u can do, is go to the console, type killbots 5.. then addbots 5.. when the bots start getting to many frags, kick them out and add new ones... thats what we did... hahaha |

I didn't even get to Malcolm, I never beat the last CTF map in the ladder. Too damn hard on Experienced. |

I'm on novice though...and he's still quite hard. It says that if you enable cheats, you can't unlock any bonus characters until you start new single player thing. By the way, it's a single 1-on-1 battle, Shadowblade. No other bots to kick out... OH WTH I'M USING "LOADED" ON THAT BASTARD! Ok...I tried using loaded, but 1 deemer not good enough. So then I did add bots. It didn't say I was a cheater, yet I got my kills off the other bots (turned auto aim on too, lol). But it still didn't give me Malcolm. Oh well, I wasn't gonna use him anyhow. I could always edit the .ini. |

I got through the others with 2 losses in all...yet I couldn't beat Malcolm without cheating...I shall go and eat mymself to see how that fills me up. |

The thing is that instead of creating a good AI, Epic simply boosted up accuracy and prediction. That is unfair against humans. I think Malcolm would be fair if he was more strategic than inhumanly accurate. |

yeah.. we enabled the bonus chars through the .ini.. we never use them tho! i seem to remember getting Malcom from adding bots, and kicking them, and so on... u know |

Firedrake is awesome. KouRyuu is crazy, Tyrant and Popo are good, and the Protoss skins? Well those kick @$$! By the way, I love custom skins all of a sudden now  .

Btw Dracone, Are you sure its not HYPERBLAST? HYPERSPACE doesnt sound right. (Pictures malcolm and my char floating on platforms in the middle of space. I piss malcolm off by hitting his leg wif a flak bomb, and he flies of his platform, creating the gib sound you always hear..... BINGO.) I just gave you a tip I always use on every enemy in the UT game series. Take a knockback weapon and bounce them off the platform. That's what happened when I fought those 16 enemy bots all against me for fun...... Did you try this? |

I have that documentary...had it since Christmas and it's sitting on my T.V. Gotta set aside some time to watch that. |

That documentary has amazing special effects, I think it won awards because of that. And keep in mind they were made in 2001. 
My favorite part is Black Holes by the way. |
