UT3 for PS3 is now pushed back for December

But PC is still in November, so all hope is not lost.

It is a pain in the ass developing games for the PS3, so this isn't very surprising. I hope for the sake of PS3 owners that this will be the first and last delay.

"UPDATE: Mark Rein has this to say about the situation.

As a public company, Midway felt an obligation to its shareholders to let them know about the possibility of a delay. But our goal is still to get the PS3 version of UT3 in stores before the end of 2007. However, we will only ship it once it’s ready and is the best game we can deliver. The PC version is still on track for a November release. "

"UPDATE 2: Mark has added additional info:

Yes, there is a chance it will come out in December.

In addition there is some good news as well. A little extra time in development means that now the PS3 version will have all of the same maps as the PC version which wasn’t previously expected to be the case. "

umm.... his sounds better on our part, more maps and more time for development. It's not like they are saying "OMFG!!! ITS NOT DONE YET, O NOES!!! WE SUCK". They are just saying it MIGHT be pushed back(there was not a definite answer).

From what i have read, they might move the release do to other PS3 games that have been/will be released. I really dont see why people get so upset about video games..... just another form of entertainment which millions of people waist* there money on.

I dont have much time to even play it, also i only put in $150 to get it and a few old games. I dont consider myself a poor bastard. O noes i missed out on halo3 *craps pants* , I play it at my friends house every now and then.

Hard to find the time to play on consoles when i've got school, a part time job, and trying to maintain some what of a social life....... but it is fun to have the friends over and play on the console when possible :d

Though if you only put $150 into the system, thats not really too bad, I'd say.
