Dude, you aren't seriously talking about whether or not someone could take Sonic seriously in a game with both Mario and Snake together in the same game, are you?! 
Don't even get me started on the pokemon in that game... That game and serious shouldn't even be brought together... And wait, Echo is talking about Sonic being a drug user, while Mario is the one going around eating Magic Mushrooms, random leaves, and star dust to get "special powers"? 
I think someone oughta take a look at the facts before they say something like that again.

Well said. Here's a look at some of the other "Totally serious" characters featured in this game: -Large-headed psychic kid. -A pretty pink princess. -A second pretty pink princess that transforms into a blue ninja. (at least in previous installment) -Cute green dinosaur that swallows people and puts them in eggs. -Large, fire-breathing turtle monster. -A flying winged child with a bow that transforms into swords. -A pair of Inuits with large wooden mallets. -A pink spherical creature that absorbs other's abilities -Another spherical creature that has wields a sword and wears a pretty cool mask. -A bounty hunter raised by birds. Kicks-ass in a big orange power-suit with a gun for an arm (and sometimes outside said power-suit) -An anthropomorphic fox-man that shoots laser guns and flies around in a space-ship. (also a bird-man in the previous installment) -A monkey that shoots peanuts from a wooden gun -A vulgar, grinning man with flatulence-based attacks. -A gorilla with a tie. I don't see how "Blue hedgehog that runs really fast" couldn't fit in here. |

Oh well, i still think having Sonic in Brawl is just odd and silly, Snake is cool, but what would Sonics attacks be other than run so effing fast you run off screen before you even touch the thumb stick. |

Dude. They put Captain Falcon in the game. All he did in his games was race around in his hovercar. His entire move-list was completely made-up for Smash. Yoshi? He eats people and puts them in eggs. Peach? She gets kidnapped. Mr. Game and Watch? He's two-dimensional! Hell, they could probably make move-lists for Mother Teresa and Adolf Hitler if they wanted to. |

I have to say that this update made my day, because my best friend has made it pretty clear that he loathes Sonic and will shit bricks if he gets in. And I get to see the look on his face when *WARNING: CHALLENGER APPROACHING* shows up on the screen with that spiny sillhouette.

What's Captain Falcon gonna do to us? Run us over? What's Fox gonna do? Fly his arwing around the stage? Don't resort to this argument. It is made of fail and aids. I'll admit I didn't give him much credit either, but after watching the video he actually looks really fun to play as. Speaking of the video, you can find it on the Brawl site. Random note: his sound effects are all from the Genesis games, which is just awesome.

If anyone, he's the guy that that shouldn't be in the game. I mean, he's like a freakin' assassin or something, the other ones just jump on the enemy or something like that and the enemy goes poof in their natural games. Snake, on the other hand, eats little rabbits alive for health and snaps the enemies' necks. |

I don't get why you guys don't like Sonic being in SSBB... UP, why would SNAKE fit better for SSBB? If anything, he uses LANDMINES and rocket launchers the size of our G5 as his weaponry! Sonic on the other hand, has the cartoony style that fits well with the others in the SSBB cast. Plus, that Spindash looks wicked fun! It's like... just in his 2D games, even allowing you to jump while in that ball mode. I wonder if Samus would use her ball form... |
