I saw a vid of this while searching crysis on the internet and I have to say im impressed. Apparently it is all realism and no more stupid trigens. Plus a 50km square map! It's like stalker in africa but bigger!

I was looking forward to crysis but I think this might just be higher on my list. I really enjoyed stalker and love realism in games. So of course when i saw this my mouth was watering. It is being made by ubisoft and isn't even usng the same engine as crysis which is surprising considering cryteck made the origional.

I just hope it is all they've made it out to be. If it is then im gonna be in for one hell of a 2008. Stalker clear sky, UT3, Crysis and farcry 2. What a set!

you havn't played stalker!!! madness! It is a really good game. definately my favourite that I own. very buggy though.

I wonder why the called it Far Cry 2.

Apparently it has none of the story elements from the first one, none of the characters, and Crytek will have no hand in its development.

But I would love this game if I had the machine for it.
I really love exploration.
