i know most of you know about this..... the portal gun for ut2004. so can any one tell me where i can get the whole download? i downloaded it here(whats said to be the latest version but it doesnt look any thing like it does in in the pictures/videos(it looks crappy ingame). The model isnt textured, and the portal is like a big fuz ball of light. any help? 
im guessing this is just not finished yet, but idk. |

You can download other version from levels4you[dot]com and you can actually see things through portal. |

yes you have the early alpha version, the same one I deleted for lagging the crap out of my PC. But what I dont know is why the website gave you that one. This should be the latest version Curiously, it has the same download link as the older version but does look more complete |

I don't know where you can find that one, but the 2004 version of U4E included a teleporter that worked pretty much the same as the portal gun. You could even have multiple portals open at once. It was released long before portal was even conceived though. Come to think of it, they also had their own version of the gravity gun, long before half life 2 showed theirs off. Also, it's way better than half life's. |

U4E was made for UT99, but also lived to see a massive UT2004 version. I downloaded the latest beta.... some pretty interesting stuff there. To bad the mods dead and a bit buggy. I didnt find a portal gun or gravity gun there...... U4E UT2004 |

After a bit of research there is indeed a primitive form of a portal gun in the UT99 version of U4E, its part of a black hole generator. This tranformed into an independant transport tool in the Ut2004 version The UT2004 version of U4E also has a tractor beam but theres no record of one in the UT99 version. I knew it was odd if Unreal Engine 1 supported gravity guns. |

A gravity gun in UE1 would be very possible, but the fake gravity effects wouldn't be all that impressive. |
