It's banned down here in Australia. We don't have an R classification for videogames so if our classification board deems that a game isn't suitable for retarded fifteen year olds then nobody gets to play it. I don't even want to play the game that much, but this sort of thing just annoys me on principle

I'm all for loving blood and gore (heck UT3 isn't gory enough... seriously it isn't) but i find SoF:P is just to extreme, for chirst sake your shooting a guys arm off then as he still lives you shoot him again and again, i just find that kind of thing disgusting. |

Dang, thats gotta suck. Well, only the most violent ones get banned I think. It made headlines in the Australian gaming press when it was announced that SoF: payback was getting banned, which gives some idea as to how rare this sort of thing is. It's still pretty stupid though, since it doesn't even stop people here from getting the game, it just stops them from paying for it. See here for example. |

You play postal 2 and its mod AW7? Now thats sadistic, cutting peoples arms off until they lose so much blood they have to crawl and grovel for some kind of help.....its kinda terrible and although its fun and games at the time it makes me feel bad later. So usually when it happens I just kill then with 1 shot to the head. |

I played through Postal 2 without killing people. Turns out, if you turn up the population density to max, there's so many people that it makes anyone trying to hit you extremely difficult. The result is an angry mob of citizens taking out those groups that hate you without having to fire a single shot on your part. 
...I may have peed on the occasional passer-by for the fun of it, though. |

Still a fun game though. same here man..... I really like the beginning of the mod more..... i keep finding myself with 800 shotgun shells, 400 smg, bullets, etc.(how the hell do i have all this ammo??? makes the game to easy) |

I wasn't too particularly crazy about the very beginning, in the asylum. I felt it had potential, but needed much work. Plus, I didn't really like having to kill everyone... You ever try the free roam mode? I think to do it you need too click on the play custom map thingy, and it should be there. Its pretty fun, pretty much you jut get to run around in the town thats populated with zombies and peoples. Heh heh, I got a funny story about the first time I encountered the zombies in that game... 
When I first encountered them, I naturally aimed for the head, that typically takes a zombie out. Oddly enough, they didn't die to easily from headshots, so I started panicking, and in typical zombie movie fashion, I sprayed clip upon clip into their bodies, only to have no success. I was running in fear because they seemed to be pretty much invincible. Needless to say, I had a hard time.
Eventually, I tried for the head again and they dropped like shambling, rotting flies. I swear the zombies were tougher in the beginning and just got weaker. |

i liked the first 2 SOF's, especially SOF 2.. awesome.. i have no idea about the new one, however it is worrying to hear it's not done by Raven.. As for gore.. it's not important, but it can add to the game if it's done right..  i mean, don't go overboard, but don't skimp too much either.. HL is pretty good in this way.. We'll see how BW goes with it's next installment
