So, I recently got a monitor from Tiger Direct. a week later, I get this e-mail: "Your Recent Order #..." Later that day, I get: "100 gifts under $100" Later that day, I get: "SALE" So, I finally notice that there is an unsubscribe button. Then I get yet another e-mail: "You have unsubscribed" I guess they just wanted to spam me by letting me know they might stop spamming me, now. Just wanted to rant for you all. |

Here's what you do. Get a G-mail account, the system will work where you will get all the obvious spam thrown in a... SPAM FOLDER!!! Automatically, none-the-less! |

SPAM is awesome! I love it, but it gets pretty old pretty quick. 
Though fried SPAM is pretty good every now and then. |

it's amazing what the spam tells me what I can do and buy...it really is amazing... Yeah, use a gmail account. It's spam filtering is excellent. |

My yahoo address gets no spam whatsoever except from one website that a friend of mine dragged me into, and even at that its only maybe 1 spam email a month. |

I hardy get any spam either. The last spam I recieved was an account confirmation form from an e-commerce site that google simply mistook for spam. Of course im also a cautious web surfer. I dont visit unfamiliar sites, I Alt-F4 every popup, I avoid online prize promotions like the plague as well as security alerts that are not from windows and I only download things when I absolutely know what im getting. I wonder if Xavious does the same thing. I find spam often does not come to you, instead its you who goes to it. |

That's pretty much what I do too. Though fire fox seems to block all the pop ups and I'm sure my NoScript plays a hand in keeping my email safer too. |
