got the skill up for ya...dont know if theres a newer one out and i dont really see why there would be i dont think theres much tweaking that could be done with it

Seems pretty cool, though it also seems useless cause its just a spam mut that gives you health and any good player (like myself) could easily fight and hide from the bots (or humans) players til it heals me to full again. way to spam prone!

im liking my random gravity mutator...its totally awesome can't remember where i got it though...but you can toggle the break in seconds between grav changes...gravity ranges from 0, to enough that if you were to fall from the height of a quad jump you die.

And by the way, this mutator is not spam. It is supposed to be fun, not create competitive gameplay. And those two never go together well.

no idea where i found it....and theres no txt with it...so i think what i'll do is i'll post it up on my personal site, attempt to give credit and hope they dont kick my butt...a warning on my site though i swear like crazy in some parts...not where i'll have the mod posted though

I have the mutator up and I'll keep looking for the file/author so I can give credit and stuff, but in the mean time it is available from my site.

Its a flying textured bombing run bomb that floats around you and gives you health (twice as fast as a link gun healing a vehicle) when your health is below 100, when it spots someone it shoots (don't know what) at the enemy until he/she/ it is dead or away from view! Also the author says the drone won't heal you if your its shooting at someone!

besides BW this is one of my fav muts.

adds in tactical stylish guns, damage can be easily set to your liking with a mutator that it comes with. makes ut2004 more like a Rainbow 6 type game except u dont rescue any body you just shoot at the aposing teams/players. skins are not chosen by you, u are automatically given one when the round begins and based on what class u chose from u get diff guns from any body else when u start.

u can make the physics more ut2004'ish by deactivating the "yarm" players option. u can now use the skin u want. there are many muts that come with the one u install, each messing with the physics and some the guns.

this is a good mut (not TC) but crashed me a few time but i may have found a way to stop it.

i definitely recommend at least trying this!

heres another realistic weapon pack, there is one gun that will make u not want to use this but u can just use a mut that comes with it called "weapons replacer*. this doesn't mess with the physics at all just changes the weapons to more arcady CS type game (notice how i said arcady?).

Drones is a really cool mut. I have to agree with James on Y.A.R.M and Remote Strike, both very good, of course not as good as BW. ;)

YARM has potential, but needs A LOT of work. its kinda like a base for a game like ut2004 is.

unlike BW i can play YARM with very little laggage (here comes bjossi :P )

obvieously YARM is better than R-S (remote strike not RS), cuz its more than just a weapons mut, brings back memories of old school FPS's.............

Remote Strike is an awful mod. It has ok weapons but lacks balance and decent sound effects. And the hit decals need a lot of work.

But I assume that mod is dead so no need to whine, Ballistic is better in all categories anyway. :)

btw bjossi, have u downloaded YARM yet? i like the tango down mut that comes with it. feels more tactical and old school compared to the YARM weapons mut.

if you have special moves on...... well read the manual. if you are playing with "yarm players" on, turn special moves on too.

Both mods have the same achiving attempts, making a weapons mod with realistic weapons. Remote Strike lacked the quality that Ballistic Weapons has.

By the way, I like fast food better. :P

well RS is more Arcady futuristic fast paced shooter (but good dmg scale) where as R-S was going for just realistic guns (thats it). but yah R-S is dead.

bjossi did u download YARM yet? it is actually worth the down load, cuz all the muts that come with it.

I don't see the realism when you blow up a Leviathan with a few shotgun blasts up close...

I haven't downloaded it yet, no. Maybe later. I'm still pretty bored of UT.
