hey I was looking through my games and found one called stronghold2 that i used to spend eons on making stuff. Do any of you guys Have This game? |

hmmm... I lost in the mud that is stalker for a while. Well i turned it back on and im finding it quite good fun actually. It has an easy to use in game editor. which is good and quite in depth. \Basically it's a castle making simulator warfare and all. not lots of people cup of tea but i quite like it. |

yeah I have that game..... my grandfather has that game.... he says that stronghold crusader is FAR better than stronghold 2... that GAME IS HARD!!! |

Stronghold 2 is more bughold 2, cargo dissapears without a single explaination and lots is crap compared to the Stronghold 1. Graphics may be better but not better compared to age. Stronghold 1 is really cool, far easier and more fun to build castles and economy is bit better too. In a mission, I always try to make an overkill fortress, to prevent the enemies from even reaching the gates. Stronghold Crusader is fun too, mostly open desert terrains with free space to build. Dad loves strategy games and he always made a huge long wall, filled with archers and huge towers, not a single building was outside the city walls. Stronghold 2 isn't much compared to stronghold and its expansion. But it is a fun game. |

Well i like it because of the editor... i actually remember making quite a few maps for it. I think i posted them on some site or another. ah well. I agree sh1 was better but the annoying thing is i could never go back to it after sh2. |

I made lots of maps for the firts one back then, but most of the times enemys would not attack my castle. Dont know why.

You had to script invasions and the such. Maybe that is why. |

Strange, sometimes they actually attacked without any scripting, only when my castle was like Uber Pwnzor Cyborg Death Machine they just standed at start location.
