I would actually expect this game to just keep releasing trailers, but never get anywhere. they are probably spending all their time on the levels and making another DN with 500 levels (remember 3D people?). With today's graphics, 500 levels would be insane. If this gets released with 500 levels, you guys will know why instantly. |

It's a win-win situation for gamers. If it turns out good, we get a fun game that we get to play. If it turns out bad, or doesn't turn out at all, it will continue to provide comedy for all of us. Frankly, I don't care how long it takes them to make it as long as they turn out something that they can be proud of. |

definetly not something i'd pay good money for.. cince its takeing them a long time it will be really good, games that are rushed have alot of problems and bugs and mostly suck while games that take a while like stalker turn out pretty good. give DNF a second chance. |

Sure, that's typically true when there actually is something being done during that time, but a long development time does not guarantee a good time. Sometime its delayed due to lack of funds, sometimes theres just no one to do it, other times they are busy with more important games. Long development times don't guarantee good games. 
Besides, before I could give DNF a second chance I'd have to give it a first chance... |

DNF's development hasn't been one long period of time, 3DR have started from scratch 2 - 3 times. Hell, they had a solid game ready back in 2000 but ditched the progress for unknown reasons. The most recent attempt has lasted for 3 years as far as I know, so it has definitely not been rushed, which means we have a pretty good reason to expect a good game that has the same sillyness as the older Duke games had. |
